Just a "head's up" to anyone curious about the "situation on the ground" in Sanford ,Fl., as I was. Turns out, the gated community where G.Zimmerman asked Trayvon Martin his business there wasn't the ONLY place having a "rash of buglaries"; Sanford has one of the HIGHEST CRIME RATES IN FLORIDA,a rate which FAR EXCEEDS the National Average, on both VIOLENT and PROPERTY crimes: Sanford has 6.65 VIOLENT CRIMES (including rape, murder, assault) per 1000 residents. Sanford has 62.85 PROPERTY CRIMES per 1000 residents.
