Car bomb goes off near Damascus Justice Palace

A car bomb has exploded in an area between the Justice Palace and Ministry of Information in the Syrian capital, Damascus.


According to Syrian TV, the explosion in Mezzeh district of the capital on Friday only caused material damage.

It was the second bomb attack in Damascus in a day. Earlier, at least five security personnel were killed in a bomb blast outside a mosque in Damascus' Ruknuddin district.
