A school superintendent has been placed on leave.

The reason was not made entirely clear, but given an earlier situation that happened it seems to be because a petition was circulated for his removal when he allegedly didn't do enough after a white student repeatedly yelled the N-word at a Black student during a loud dispute in the school parking lot.

An assembly was held two days later to address the issues of race and equity, but apparently that wasn't seen as enough and several high school students even walked out of the assembly in protest over the incident.

The Superintendent is Dr. Justin Blasko, who oversees the Monroe School District, in the state of Washington.
