Trump, Arpaio- two publicity whores - and these two barely acknowledge Birthers, and they are the most prominent people that Birthers can get to even nod in their direction.

Let's remember you are the only real Birther left on these boards- Moon Landing conspiracy theories gets more action than the Birthers, and of course Truthers are far more active. The speculation, innuendo and lies of Birthers are getting no traction.

People are actually more interested in the actual democratic process of getting elected rather than Conspiracy nuttery.

Obama has a real challenge ahead of him in the coming election. Unless the Republicans blow it, he will probably lose.

Two things I guarantee if he loses:
a) Birthers will have had nothing to do with it.
b) I will not spend the following 4 years pretending that his successor is not really President or demanding to see his or her birth certificate. (and neither will Birthers- because they don't care about eligiblity)

 

Although, I gotta tell you. The Republican party has really got to be loving the Birthers right about now. </sarcasm>

Their challenge of Rubio may not have gotten anybody to seriously question his eligibility, but they sure got him in hot water regarding lying about his family's immigration story. This bright shining star of the Tea Party has now been hamstrung... and not by Democrats or Liberals... by Birthers.

I swear, Birthers could dent a ball bearing with a rubber mallet.

Well considering that for the last 100 years, this Republic held up just fine with what the Supreme Court has rule, and for the last 100 years, we all have known who a "natural born citizen' is...I would say you are wrong on all counts.

Funny how little faith Conservatives have in America. Wash thinks the Republic will fall if the Supreme Court doesn't do what Birthers demand. Others like Christie predict that America will fall if Obama is re-elected.

I however have more faith in the resiliance and strength of Americans, our Constitution and our country. We will survive any individual President or Birther idiocy.

However, we do have real issues to deal with, issues regarding our economic and physical health that I see no real leadership from either side in dealing with. I think the real threat to our Republic is the refusal to deal with honestly with issues like Social Security and spending, greenhouse gases and the environment, immigration, energy independence.

 

So the fact that Obama is the only Presidential candidate in history to actually have his home state verify his eligibility is an "anomaly" that should, in your ridiculously warped mind, count against him?

As far as we know- Rubio was born in the U.S., just as you assume Bachmann, Palin, Gingrich, etc were all born in the U.S. (I say assume, because unlike President Obama, none of them have provided any evidence of their birth in the U.S., but Birthers don't care, because they really don't care about eligibility).

Everyone has known for at least 100 years that anyone born in the United States is potentially eligible to be President.

There is no controversy. The American people know and have known this for their entire lives. Chief Justice Roberts knew it when he swore in Barack Obama, and Sandra Day O'Conner knew it when she said that of course Barack Obama was eligible.

Just because you want Obama not to be eligible doesn't mean the Supreme Court will indulge Birther fantasies.

You said that until Obama released his second Birth Certificate you were not a Birther, so that means up until then you agreed with everyone else as to what natural born meant.

Then miraculously you underwent the Vattel cure.

So tell us how you suddenly changed your understanding of what natural born meant and why it is contrary to what everyone else in the U.S. agrees it is.
