I kept getting this question here and there; did I think romney was vetted equally as Obama... I don't know the specific parameters of any legal/mandatory process.

I did say for sure, that all candidates should be "vetted" equally. I stand by that statement.

This is ridiculous. The courts have said (US v. Johnson 1977) that guilt under the Misprision of Felony statute requires active concealment, not just knowledge. To suggest that stupid rumors that have been all over the Internet and involve NO PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE WHATEVER must be reported under pain of imprisonment is freaking insane. Do 20 million birthers have an obligation to file stuff in federal court?

I would point out that if there were ever a trial of Barack Obama, Vogt would not be allowed to testify because what he says is not of his own knowledge, and despite his vaulted opinion of himself, he is not a qualified expert. And in fact, his 20 points of forgery are little more than doggerel. Not only does Vogt have no legal obligation to report anything, he doesn't know anything worthy of reporting, as evidenced by the fact that the FBI already blew him off on multiple occasions.
