    YIKES!

Gensler's private calendar revealing the discrepancies was obtained by the watchdog group Energy Policy Advocates and shared with Fox News Digital. The group was only able to obtain the internal records after filing a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the SEC.

In recent days, around the time Fox News Digital contacted the SEC, the agency updated Gensler's public calendar to include his meeting with Clinton in August 2021. As recently as Wednesday the public calendar didn't include the meeting, and archived copies of the webpage from April also list just a meeting with staff. -Fox News

Maybe Hillary is not out of hot water yet. lol I laughed when I typed that.

"That this and Gensler's consultation with Hillary were scrubbed from the public version of his calendar is frankly the least surprising aspect of this," Horner continued. "The SEC first told Energy Policy Advocates that the publicly posted calendars were all they would get."

Why would he hide that? What deals were made? Pouring more money into her cofferes? Illegal trading??

    What (Exactly) does it PROVE?
Should Hillary be settling her affairs, and be preparing for The Gurney?
    What is the Big Deal?

I am hoping Americans are starting to get an idea of just how corrupt leadership is in this country. They will lie, cheat and steal and do anything they can to stay in power and abuse the system to the full extent. Hillary is a classic example of someone lives far above the law. When people like her are arrested and kept within the confines of the law we should all share, then this country will get better.

Until then, it continue to slide steep downhill. Hillary is only one example.

    And, TRUMP is another "example"...
    In fact, this part:
They will lie, cheat and steal and do anything they can to stay in power and abuse the system to the full extent

Incorrect, Trump hasn’t committed any crimes. But at least you agree Hillary did. Progress.

lol I didn’t bring her up! If I was deflecting I’d ask why republicans suddenly care about transparency when trump hid his visitor logs and stole govts docs when he left.

Good catch. Quite hypocritical of those to call out whataboutism only to participate in it.

The biggest problem in all of this is the American people. So many align themselves with one side or the other thinking they are on the correct side of history while reality should have already taught us that these politicians (all of them) are self-serving, power hungry, people controlling, narcissists. And the American people keep electing those persons thinking they will lead us to a promising future only to be wholly disappointed and then begin hope for the next one up. Ignorance is bliss and we are ALL guilty of too much bliss!

I think Americans are just as authoritarian as the leaders that are voted for in American elections. This is the main problem in America: Authoritarianism in America is rampant. Very few Americans want to compromise. Very few Americans want all the facts.

I think you're partly right, that there are many who espouse the authoritarian type of attitude, but I would argue that it is very vocal minority on both sides of the aisle.
I think the majority of Americans are not authoritarian, and are willing to compromise, but they are not yelling the loudest.
The extremes seem to be getting louder, maybe trying to out-shout the other side. I believe we are seeing that at the ballot box, in general.

    Facts:

Hillary, who holds no office, gets a meeting with the SEC chairman and the meeting evidence is scrubbed. FOIA Lawsuit

Why did he scrub the evidence of this meeting?

SEC is supposed to be completely Independent. These people need to be removed and investigated to make sure they are politicizing these commisions or working to enrich themselves via insider trading.

I am shocked people, even on this forum, are running cover for these people and this story. If it was Trump, would they feel differently? Party > Country?

Why do 'no so authoritarian Americans' keep on voting in authoritarian politicians?

Just speculation of course, but a combination of :
    A. Lack of quality choices, partly due to
    B. Middle-of-the-roaders not voting in primaries
    C. Major negative ad campaigns. I think many are voting against one or more candidates, but not necessarily for the other, and may not even know anything about the other candidate. Example: voting for "John Brown" because I don't like Suzy Smith, even though I don't know anything about John Brown, but have seen many negative ads about Suzy Smith.
