For their overreaching and oppressive gun control measures. Gabby Giffords and her husband own guns and have for years. Both Gabby and her husband have admitted to enjoying sport shooting of guns, something Democrats claim doesn't exist. I saw them both being interviewed on CNN this morning by some typical left wing hack reporter who seemed appauled that they own guns. I thought it was hilarious. Left wingers are so dense.

When have Democrats ever claimed that nobody enjoys shooting guns? I like shooting guns, I own guns and I think that background checks make sense- I don't see any reason why mentally ill people are entitled to easy access to fire arms with 33 round magazines.

Gabby Giffords still appreciates gun culture

    Posted by
CNN Chief Congressional Correspondent Dana Bash
(CNN) - Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was nearly killed more than 2 years ago by a man with a gun. Today, her brain injuries make speaking difficult, and yet she has become an active spokeswoman for new restrictions on guns.

Ironically she has not lost her love of guns. Target practice is still a form of entertainment at her mother's house deep in the Arizona desert. Her husband Mark Kelly uses pots and water bottles as targets, while Giffords watches from the patio with her mother cheering him on.

Kelly isn't shooting with just any kind of gun – he's using a Glock 9 millimeter handgun, the same kind of gun his wife was shot with.

"But in that case it had a magazine that held 33 rounds," he said. "This, when it's full, holds 17."

The gun is actually Giffords' – Kelly said he gave it to his wife as a gift years ago.

"She's a gun owner," he said. "She's from the West."

Giffords and Kelly argue because of their love of guns, they have more credibility in their fight to expand background checks to private gun sales

While gun control advocates know no political boundaries in theory, in practice the left and especially the far left tend towards more restrictive gun control policies.....it's a generalization. That being said I know democrats that have voted for bammy twice who think all this malarkey being pushed about gun control isn't helpful at all and republicans who think expanded background checks are OK.

Huh. That's funny. I didn't know they made 33 round magazines.

So she owns a gun that holds 17 rounds and her merry band of thieves (the Democratic Party) is stumping for a 7 round limit? :omg:
