    TRAITORS the lot of them.

They have sold us into financial slavery.

We dont need a carbon tax that sends billions of Australian tax payer dollars to overseas foreign institutions that couldn't give two hoots about us, to clean up our own back yard.

The problem with our parliamentarians is these pr!cks dont feel the effects of the laws they pass and can just have a lazy comfortable life on tax payers dollars after they leave parliament, no matter how much they fark the country up..

Every person that voted for it should be shot in the head...oh well at the very least they will get a kick in the ass at the next election.

Why take it out on the farm animals?

Anyway - the only one getting a kick in the arse next election will be Big Tony.

His scare campaign failed. (Most) people are simply not that stupid. He has shot his load - and has nothing left. This time next year - even the most rusted on Liberals will be wondering what all the fuss was about. This is why Big Tone ran away to London last week. He is a joke.

You and other "developed nations" are nothing better than Aztec priests sacrificing countless people in the hopes of changing the weather.

More of the same from bugs....denial is bad mate.
The greens and labor will be gone at the next election mate, the only question is by HOW MUCH. The people have not taken the propaganda pill and do not believe the "carbon lies" YOUR political masters have tried to force on us.

So how do you suggest we address the issue of climate change?

Funny that the rest of the world is pulling AWAY from the idea of a carbon tax... It is nothing more than a scam being used as a way to further the left wings wealth distribution ideals.

There is no issue TO address. The climate has ALWAYS changed and ALWAYS will change.

Labor's approval ratings are improving though, so don't count on it.

You should print this quote of your out.

Read it again in about 12 months time

Tell us then how Big Tony's scare-mongering has panned out. It will be then you will probably realise that you have "taken the propaganda pill" and do not believe the "carbon lies" YOUR political masters have tried to force on you.

Tony is a joke. This is a man that claimed "climate change is crap", and then set about promoting a policy to reduce emissions by using your tax money to give to big polluters He has lied to you and you have bought it hook, line and sinker.

It must suck to be you.

Hopefully, come the next election, the idiots in this country will have woken up and realised what a liar Abbott is. Or else we may be stuck with him as our PM.

And this is why you opinion is really not required here. You don't even understand the problem.

I hate to break this to you - but you don't possess any magic insight that makes you smarter than the world's scientific community. You are simply wrong.

    Abbott will never be PM.

His plan was to have early election. He has failed. He has now just been left looking stupid. Carbon tax, mining tax, budget holes, pokie reform, superannuation, IMF support, offshore processing - he has had so many back-flips and just plain dumb policies he was hoping no one would notice.

Now - even the media is starting to notice and hold him to account (finally)
Even the Murdoch press is turning against him!

Abbott could be gone by Christmas.

Who will replace him though? Turnbull is the obvious choice - but the rest of the party hates his guts. Hockey?!? Bishop?!?! Pyne?!?! Not a lot of choices there

If I had a choice of those I'd pick Joe Hockey.

throwing mud into the water isnt going to save labor and the greens from what is going to happen at the next election. Yes T/A MAY face a leadership challenge but at the end of the day NO ONE that supports carbon tax will lead the libs and the tax WILL BE REPEALED after the next election. That WILL happen simply because most of us can see it is nothing but a scam.

I would rather 10 terms of T A over 1 term of the bloody red queen or commie bob.

He seems a nice enough bloke. A bit out of his depth though
I think Pyne is the smartest of them all. He could be a good leader - but he is just so unlikeable. He would be ballot-box poison to the average voter.
Hunt seems ok too - but has badly damaged his image by trying to sell Tony's "direct action" nonsense. It is pretty obvious he doesn't believe a word he has been saying this past year - just playing along with Tony's wrecking.

    a) the length of time it will take to repeal (6 to 12 months)

    b) the electorate's apathy (once it comes in and everyone realises it's not the end of the world, they'll just lose interest)

    c) where will the money come from to pay for the compensation?

    d) the Libs won't win the next election
