(*)(*)(*)(*) is going Crazy up here. 3 Senators under investigation, 2 of which had to quit their caucus. Harpers chief of staff had to resign and Harper just ran off to a Trade negotiation.

I wonder how this is going to play out?

run and hide until summer recess and it all goes away...

it's the conservative method of information control...muzzle everyone, say nothing, avoid media at all times, interaction is restricted to party loyalists and carefully scripted events...by not confronting the issue they pretend there is no issue...

Normally I would agree, whatwith the general Canadian apathy normally afforded our Gov't, but this has a lot of people pretty twisted up. If Harper prorogues Parliament again the MPs are going to get lambasted during their summer tours.

na no prorogue this time that would suicidal canadians aren't that apathetic...during elections harper carefully controlled his media scrums taking only questions his people approved , anytime there were questions he didn't want to answer he'd avoid a direct answer or they would end the scrum...this will be the same, but since the house is sitting he already makes himself unavailable he'll be sure to be doubly scarce...about 20 sitting days left until the break, he'll be in london in June and will find every excuse possible not to be in the house....then it's 12 weeks summer break and he'll be nowhere to be found by the media...

and the media plays his game which makes it worse, it enables him...the media need to boycott his news conferences if he refuses to answer questions, a public relations nightmare for any politician, imagine a photo op or policy announcement and no media attend?...and that should be standard treatment for any politician/party be accountable/available or be shut out by the media...
