Teen crime in the UK grows by leaps and bounds and they are here whining non-stop about Israel and starting absurd threads like this. Israel arrests a juvenile Jewish hooligan which is the right thing to do and instead of commending the Israeli authorities, they try to cast it in a negative light....Israel has juvenile criminals..Duh! No Sh&t? Of course it does. The UK on the other hand has a huge number of teen criminals and their numbers are growing exponentially.

I don't understand whythis is a story that only jew haters would like or be interested in.

I'm interested because every time a settler (kid or adult) gets arrested for this kind of terrorist behaviour it demonstrates that the rule of law exists. Seems many people are fully aware of palestinians routinely attacking settlers and the IDF but are ignorant of the fact that palestinians are routinely attacked by settlers.

In fact, this is one area that highlights the differences in the two justice systems. Often, if nobody is seriously hurt or killed, Israeli perps get off with a slap on the wrist but palestinians are jailed and don't get out until they are either acquitted or have served their sentence (much longer that Israelis for equal crimes).

But, at least the Israeli police won't let these attacks by settlers go uninvestigated, whereas the palestinian police generally ignore attacks on jews in their territory (they leave it completely up to the IDF military police).

The guy who created this thread is a Jew-hater. He's a liberal and an atheist, but he obsesses over Israel in every topic. He even admits that Israel is one of the most gay-tolerant nations on the planet, but he still favors a Muslim fundamentalist culture like Palestine - so the only logical conclusion left is that, he just hates Jews.

I think that it's a good thing that Israel arrested those kids. They should arrest all bomb throwers. Too bad the Palestinians don't do that or there would actually be peace in the region.

 

There certainly are differences in the two justice systems, but the primary reason why I think the OP posted this news-story is because some members on this forum constantly demonize the Palestinians with regards to how they supposedly and generally treat their children (so I gather the OP is some sort of 'counter-attack').

The OP has obviously upset some, as evident by their knee-jerk posts of 'anti-antisemitism' and the irrelevant subject of the two justice systems.

 

Arrest is one thinh whether it serves as an affective deterent to other Israeli kids who've been indoctrinated to hate non-Jews , that's something else.

Later in life we learn or we should learn, I'm afraid we don't learn enough though from history.

What I have learnt from history is that 'Settler' can also mean 'Invader'

What has gay rights got tot do with it? Talk about side tracking a thread. Anyway, gay rights is a subset of human rights, something Israel knows nothing about, so I guess it's just self interest you are going on about.

 

If they have no concept of human rights, why do Palestianian gays have to flee to Israel, because they're safer among the Israelis than they are in their own fundamentalist culture?
