Should homosexuality be illegal?

Plenty, Japan is very conservative, plenty of value placed on social order and social conscience, yet situations do occur that contradict much of societal norms in Japanese society and culminates in suicide for many young people.

 

But the Japanese aren't 'conservative' about sex. Never have been. Also, they have a 'noble/honourable sacrifice' culture. Suicide has never been seen as a negative there. Well, not until recently. Their high rate of suicide has nothing to do with sex, and everything to do with a cultural imperative to kill yourself for the slightest insult to pride.

It's useful to have a broad understanding of these cultures before embarking on arguments against them. I find.

 

I am not arguing against culture, far from it, it is simply the fallacy of your arguments that prove false.

And it is not suicide that is seen in any light good or bad, it is losing face and living in shame, suicide is an honorable way out of shame in Japanese culture.

 

Exactly. It's more noble and honourable to kill yourself if you've been 'shamed' than to live. It's nuts, but it's been part of that culture for centuries.

 

Well many of the dearest people in my life were Japanese, and that is how they explained it to me, Taiko was very important to me, and was my Nanny for many years, more like family really.

I recently went out to eat, and I'm sitting next to these 20-somethings, and this retarded little 20-year old female was like "I want you to meet my gay friend" to every single one of her friends when they showed up to meet her... She actually introduced this dude as "my gay friend" as if it was something cute...

Well I told her to (*)(*)(*)(*) after about the 5th time......

I suppose my point is, have as much gay sex as you want - just don't go out of your way to show the world how gay you are just because some people who subscribe to stupid politics think its cute and tolerant to let the world know they're gay or have a gay friend.... That type of (*)(*)(*)(*) only causes problems.

 

How is it a problem ? how does it cause problems ? because you hate Gay people ?
Why all the abnormal animosity towards Gay people ? if you are Heterosexual, and someone introduces you to a Gay person, why would you be offended or cuss at a mentally different female ?

That is not proper or normal behavior, it is best to behave nicely towards people, even if you do not approve of their actions if those actions do not endanger you.

 

It's a problem because obviously the fact the guy is gay is what REALLY MATTERS to the person introducing the guy to others. Why does it matter if the dude was gay? you want to be known as being the gay guy or do you want to be known as an individual.

When I introduce people I don't say "hey this is my libertarian friend so and so" or "this is my bisexual girlfriend so and so"...

It's obnoxious that's why - it's (*)(*)(*)(*)ing juvenile that's why...... Sorry I don't care who is gay nor do I want to know if someone is gay..

Besides the gay person isn't the one really pissing me off it's the progressive that introduces people as being gay that pisses me off as if they're trying to prove to the world how progressive they are just because they have a gay friend....

I'm sure you would find it obnoxious if some rich guy sat around talking about his money every 2 seconds and had to let the whole damn restaurant know just how rich he was..

People who consistently bring up superficial crap every two seconds pisses me off.....

I agree, it is not appropriate behavior or necessary, most people do not pester others with such introductions.
It is better to relax and realize some folks are not quite well or tend to have disorders of some sort.

I have wealthy friends, their Mansions tell you they are wealthy, they do not need to mention it, lol, they have maids & butlers and cooks and drivers etc.....

 

Pretty much, I get tired of hearing these young SJW's introducing people as being gay or black or whatever. It's like who really cares especially in a normal restaurant....

When I introduce my friends to other friends I'm like "this is so and so and hes cool, you'll like him" I don't say "this is my friend so and so and he's divorced" wtf....

My Cousins husband was that sort, he had a very nice home, not a Mansion, a two story ranch house, and a huge twin engine boat docked near his home, I enjoyed fishing off his pier, he used to go from Florida to various Islands, he was always talking about his Investments in the stock market etc..... I was only 10 years old, so it did not bother me much, he had games and cable television and A/C on 24 / 7 and a really nice kitchen, an ice machine, cold drinks, and when he gave me a $ 20 bill every now and then, lol then it bothered me even less.

 

Well, it's only happened around me a few times....

Actually overheard a woman a while back talking on her phone saying "oh you have to meet my black friend"....

I think people like that are the real racists....

I grew up kinda poor, over the years my parents got pretty wealthy working hard and now they're pretty well to do but you know what? they're super humble people - they have a modest home (they could easily afford so much better than what they have) but they're like me.... Only assclowns do that.... Yeah they enjoy life, take trips, we have a family summer home on a lake we go to almost every weekend but it's not like they feel obligated to show the world how much they have - besides buying all that materialistic crap is just a waste of money.... Sure they invested in real estate but they don't tell anyone this - at least not strangers.

The only way you can tell that my parents have money pretty much is the fact my mom loves to drink high end booze (who doesn't) and my dad drinks high quality beer.... lol

But hey, their friends, well our friends are all the same way - they have money and are humble about it and everyone shares when we party...

That's the way people should be....

I'm not saying people shouldn't have nice things if they have money but the people that always need to brag about it is kinda screwy....

Heck, I had a buddy that made some good money and he was just like that - he bought boats, bikes, a really nice house and and would pickup $500 bar tabs and would show off everything he had - you know where he is living now? in his moms basement because he blew it all because he wanted to impress people.

I have plenty of black friends (they're all libertarians) and (*)(*)(*)(*) right now I have a bisexual chick sleeping on my couch right now yet when I speak the truth I get all these crazies coming after me calling me a racist or anti-gay just because I don't promote their crazy ass agenda....

I will admit I am indeed biased against the progressive agenda which is again a superficial agenda based on race and sexuality - like I somehow need to support gays or blacks..... I support individuals of all races, religions and sexual orientations that don't group themselves in those silly groups...

I just have an issue with using the word PROGRESSIVE to mean something that it really isn't.

Being a progressive is really about being a person who want's to go forward and see advancements in all fields of science as well as progress made with our current partisan fighting.

Now I don't know who placed the PROGRESSIVE label on those MORONS who feel it is somehow necessary to tell and force people to talk like they do and act like they do and especially THINK like they do such as in my case I was at a bar and I knew the female bartender and she is a lesbian and I said to her..."Honey could you get me another beer?".......the next thing I know I have a female Professor from Smith College reaming me out for calling a WOMAN...HONEY!!

And as she knew this bartender was Lesbian she also started complaining about how I must be one of those men who objectifies all women and blah..blah...blah!!

Fortunately the bartender who is my friend straightened her out but if she wasn't there I would have to be forced to DEFEND MYSELF????

Let us say it was illegal. Is America really interested in the cost in treasure to make it really illegal. Even in the 20th century, it was a mental illness and a criminal act. Just dealing with the paradox of a criminal act and also being a mental illness is not a healthy social state. But, to make it a criminal act without being a mental illness: we have to ask -- what is the punishment. You are not gay for a hour, it is for life. It is not like theft were you still someone and you do not always steal. Being gay, you are gay sleeping or awake for life. Even when you are dead, soon we will find more information about the genes within the human body. So if I know a person that was gay in life, his or her DNA would show that information centuries after their death.

So tell me, if a serial killer was sentence to prison and dies. I cannot prove with DNA he was a serial killer but a dead gay person I can. So how to we make gay people have a worse crime then a serial killer? Making being gay a crime -- is not a rational argument.

 

You can prove a dead person was Gay ??? How ???

 

Well it does sound like they were juveniles... If they really were just 20 they kind of get a pass for being immature. That's all it was, immature.
