Last week two residential neighborhoods were blown away due to improper maintenance of local natural gas lines. Every year scores of homes explode due to the use of natural gas. Environmentalists favor natural gas because it is allegedly more environmentaly friendly. Nevertheless, having a home with natural gas is like sitting on a time bomb. Limousine liberals want peasants to have it but they use electricity to heat their homes.

Two alternatives to natural gas are electricity and heating oil. Of course homeowners could use wood or coal in a firplace or a pot-bellied stove, but no one is going to do that.

If natural gas wasn't deemed to be a "green" fuel, the government would have banned it years ago. It has become a super-hazardous white elephant.

    Should natural gas be banned?

    Sleep well tonight.

Ridiculous knee jerk reaction. Houses also burn down due to electrical problems, LPG cyclinders have also been known to fail.

We been using natural gas for heating, hot water and cooking for nearly 20 years. Our entire town is connected to natural gas, so I hazard a guess most people would be connected. Far cheaper than electricty and much more efficient.

    No problems here.
