    Here we go, folks... time to welcome in a brand new year! What better way to celebrate than taking a nice long cruise! We'll start out with fireworks over NYC and head out to the open sea first thing... on the first! Next stop... someplace with palm trees and white sand beaches!

    Per the ship's manifest... just a few rules to remember:

    1. Everyone is welcome
    2. No political discussions
    3. Shirt & shoes required for service in the bar

    Belly up, folks! And let the party begin!!!! Who's ready for some island hopping? Let's meet in the Mermaid Bar... Lido Deck! Don't be late now.. fireworks start at sunset!!

    Chose this ship 'cuz they've already got a dive bar. It's on the Redneck Deck, sublevel 3. Figure we'll meet up there when we get kicked outta the fancy joints. :omg:

    Can we fish off it or water ski off it? I mean...its like a floating mall right? OK Ill be in the kitchen area learning how to cook for 10000 people 24 hours a day. lol Ill bet you all had no idea that the tonnage of garbage generated from one cruise ship could feed all the hogs in Iowa for 3 days or was it 3 hours. No wait maybe 3 hogs. Either way thats a lot of...something. Think about it.

    And why not the mountain. This is Smartys ship. It is magical. It can do things that you would not believe. For one thing it draws people into it that are in need of a friend. A place to go to when there is no place else to go to. There is always someone here to talk to. Someone to tell your troubles to. Some one that cares.

    That is what makes this place so magical. Folks here will always welcome you no matter who you are or where you are from and are always glad to see you.

    Now that's more than I have said all week. So just pull up a stool and get comfortable and enjoy the cruise.

    Quiet here too. Ive never really been big on new years eve. They are already blowing off fireworks here or someone just got gunned down. I shouldnt laugh but I am.

    MtDew and Vodka for me. Im on my second one right now. I plan on seeing two balls tonight one way or another. lmao I got a lot of (*)(*)(*)(*)ing nerve let me tell you.

    Leftover Jim Beam & Coke here. LOL, might have one more outta that little bit of Jack Daniels from last year's eggnog mixins.

    And ordering pizza for dinner. It won't be fireworks, it'll be gunshots in my community. And I'll be hiding in the house...

    Hey y'll, did you survive last night?
    Went to bed at 9 pm sharp, was worn out. So then I woke up in the middle of the night, woke up hubby too, wondering if there's a thunderstorm somewhere. Forgot all about new years eve....lol.
    Am I getting senile?
