    I have a positive attitude. It comes from being secure in my faith..and from a cold determination to refrain from burdening my children with mopes, moods, and a negative outlook.

    Though I'm older, fatter, and poorer than I've ever been in my life, I'm also happier now I've got it down. Go figure. There's a lot to be said for going through the motions and mouthing the platitudes even when you really just want to scream

    Ive pretty much been a take charge type of person. People depend on that. Over the years Ive learned that I cant do it all. If I cant do it its not a failure, its an achievement. Let other people think it through to grow. Now Im very comfortable sitting back, nodding and smiling. Its so simple and positive all around. I do catch myself every now and then but I go straight to "what do you think" or "whats your suggestion".

    Lately I've been focusing on NOT beating myself up over the fact that there's just not enough hours in the day for me to get everything (read, housework) done. Now maybe there's enough hours in the day for my manic relatives and friends, whose homes are always spotless and beautiful..but for ME there aren't.

    I spend a lot more time on sedentary things like needlework, reading, watching tv and internet than the super motivated super organized women I know do...

    And my house reflects that.

    On the other hand, I'm pretty well informed well read...so that's just the trade off I make. And IT'S OKAY (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*).

    Cripes now I feel guilty again. What a drag.

    Maybe it's embarassment. My bedroom is a disaster area.

    But I did clean my bathroom yesterday...yay for me. It no longer smells like an outhouse!

    Okay, it never smelled like an outhouse. But by all rights, it SHOULD have.

    No one was hurt and thats all that matters. The car will be fixed and no harm done. My only hope is the guy who hit the car learned a lesson. Its all good. I been reading articles on staying positive. Can you tell? lol

    A lot happening in here today.. Falena's wrecked car and Angelo wanting to watch her when her positive mood wears off.. Wow.. Good for you Falena positive is good.
    True story.. from a school teacher friend. Her class had a few minutes every day devoted to positive time.. A little boy got up and said, "susie spit on me." The teacher said, "This is positive time you have to say something positive." The little boy replied, " I am positive she spit on me."
