So for lack of nuthin' better to inquire about I think I'll check prices and
availability of Adult Diapers and what the best site to get an MBA online.

    I mean,like why not.God made boobies fer a reason.Not just fir babies
but also for cosmetic purpose.I mean, maybe not Mary Kay butts udder galsy.

Well. The good news is that I'm back home from vacation. The bad news is that I have to work tomorrow.

I spent about 6 hours floating down the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels. We have really bad sunburn. My dad rented a 5 bedroom house in Gruene from his cousin. We walked to Gruene Hall every night and Mrs. Texan got her fill of a craft show. The live music was great (and free).

I even beat my dad (and brother) in bowling. He quit 16 years ago after he bowled a 300 in a tournament. I guess he got bored. He blames it on his knee, but since he is 72, I'll buy it.

My mom (Granny) cooked our favorites all week and we played lots of card games and 42. 42 is a domino game that is popular with old timers in Texas. It's kind of like Spades, but whoever wins the bid gets to pick the trump suit.

The only thing missing was my oldest son. He couldn't swing leave this month, but he'll be home next month.

Hey y'all! I just got back from a little Texas road trip myself, T. Spent the weekend at a friends family ranch (800 acres) in Coryell County down around Crawford. Rugged country, but beautiful at the same time. Definitely wide open spaces. Now I wanna be a rancher. Lol

In Waco. Lunch afterwards on the Brazos... coconut margaritas. Yum.

Then out on the back porch to throw bread to the hundreds of turtles who show up for a free meal.

Fun trip. I have a new appreciation for Central Texas. :)

You bet, darlin. Gimme a 5 bedroom house with 2 central air units, satellite dish and wifi in the middle of no place and I'd trade those heels for boots in a NY minute. :)

    How's things in Chi-town?

    I like Turtles.Had more than a few as a kid.It's kinda a kid thing.
Was interested in a Nice Louisville gal a few years back and she was
really keen on her tortoise. But she had quirks.Never as much as drank a beer
her entire life and she was in her early 40's.Never Smoked.Married just once
and had 3 nice kids and was open about her disdain of their Father.
I learned not to trust her judgement.Women tend to act that way.
They have serious issues about controlling their Hubby's.
Now as far as Turtles.I think they like to open their mouths when need feed.
From what I remember as a pet enthuthiast.
Not that women are mush different. But why pigeonhole an entire sex.
If Butterflies are Free, then Men are not as far as the weaker sex.
As if Women don't try to quarantine their adopted lover and treat as if
    some pet turtle.
If it wasn't for Women ... Men could actually lead lives of quiet desperation.
I wonder if Walden Pond had many them turtles.

It's a hunting lodge during deer season. Nothing to hunt this time of year so we had the whole place to ourselves. Nice. :)

We had 5 bedrooms, but we also had 9 people. I would have liked to be in the middle of nowhere, but we did see 3 deer by the back gate. Gruene is crawling with them. They know they can't be hunted there.

If you could catch one, I'm sure you could keep it. Not like they're an endangered species. ;)

A neighbor keeps goats and a couple of horses on this property. The only other wildlife I saw was a tarantula. Not a fan!

Ah so you would like turn the place into a bed-n-breakfast joint......eh. I almost bought a motel, but decided against it since it wasn't around any major hwys or strip mall. As a matter of fact......I think the town only had like 2k people living around there. So its not like it could have been used for those 4 hr get aways.

I'm recovering from a motorcycle accident. Broke my leg. Doc say I can't
ride for 8 weeks. ACK! :eyepopping:

Don't worry. The motorcycle is fine. I threw myself under it to keep it from
receiving any damage. Hence the broken leg.
