    Because otherwise it will get pushed to the back of the refrigerator and won't be found until 5 years after the 'Best Used By' date, just like it does after you've opened it and used it once.

    I have no idea(sorry for the graduation complications and especially the health complications.) They say that you *lose* taste, they didn't say you'd taste things differently(to my knowledge anyway), did the test come back positive or negative yet?

    I forgot to ask the doctor. I just got off of the phone with him. My neighbor's mom went through this recently and he said that my liver is in shock from all of this infection and trauma and is affecting my sense of taste. His mom dealt with this for about a week before it got better. I'm seeing a little improvement today. I'm going to try to eat some left over enchiladas. Wish me luck.

    COVID test was negative.

    Im watching this looting and burning going on and I think its time to prepare.

    Here's the plan.
    Ill back the truck up to the bar. We load all the liquor inventory in my truck and Ill take it to my cellar. Oh and the pool table. We dont want that damaged and I'll make room for the juke box. Then open the bar doors. The place will already look like its gutted and the looters will move on. You guys come over my house and we can hang out in the cellar. Bring your own toilet paper.
    When this free for all is over and the coast is clear, we bring everything back and open the bar. Wala.

    Could you ever imagine smelling like smoke and walking in the house with arms full of things from a store? Never ever. The cop beating would be a light touch compared to my mom. lol No kidding. Two wooden spoons and my mom could push a protest line back. Horses? For what? Line up Italian old school moms with two fisted wooden spoons.

    It also takes the courage for parents of some of these "future astronauts" to turn them in, once they understand that no one will protect them not even their antifa, that's when this changes. To that extent, the hollywood actors and celebrities bailing them out, is a sad day in the United States.

    One way to prevent that is to prevent the posting of bail period. A terrorist shouldn't be allowed to walk back onto the streets easily.

    I don't accept this as the new normal, I don't accept the idea that aimless looting and rioting will help solve or resolve social ills.

    I often wonder, Does your Mom know you are doing this? I think you have a very good idea with the Old School Moms!

    At one point in your life you either learn to not take things that dont belong to you, or you dont learn and think whatever you can lift, that makes it yours.
    Once I took something that didnt belong to me. My mom saw it and said take it back and go in that store and tell them you stole that and apologize. Then get in the house. I did exactly that. After that lesson I never took a thing that I didnt work for or that was freely given to me. Actually Im so far on the other end of the spectrum, if you give me something at some point I will give you something in return.

    To me, there is a difference between right and wrong, in spite of the fact people try and blur the lines with shades of grey. I can see clearly the difference because people took the time and were respectable, responsible and took no blurred line excuses for bad behavior. There was no excuse good enough for doing something that was wrong in their eyes.

    No one should accept this as a new normal. Its an extreme that is unacceptable on many levels. The clouds will lift and the sun will shine again. This will be a distant memory.
    This is what people will say someday to their grandchildren. We lived though a pandemic and riots. Dont complain about the locust.

    Word. And the 'positive' thing about that is that said grandchildren(the babies literally born in the midst of all this) will literally be able to learn lessons akin to 'keeping calm and chill'. Like "Yeah, my granddaddy and grandma went through some ****. This ain't nothing." That'll do well for their future development.

    Up hill both ways in a snow storm kinda thing. Or, history repeats itself because no one listens the first time kinda thing.
