    Not for the faint of heart, y'all, but everybody's welcome in this dive! A place to put aside the politics, kick back and have a cold one.

    Dives have a rep for gettin a little rowdy now & then... never can tell who's gonna show up. Could be bikers, could be cowboys, could be the cops.

    Pull up a barstool and take a load off.

    Or if you prefer, take a bra off and hang it over the bar... it's an ole dive bar tradition. ;)

    I was thinking of you all the other day. Its been a long time since I had a drink in a bar. We stopped in a Saloon type bar. The very first thing they had when you walked onto the bar was steer horns and a Texas Panhandle old time poster. The margaretta sucked but the place made me smile thinking of all you cool women from Texas. This song was playing on the Juke box.

    Somebody just told me a turkey leg is $9. Hell, I wouldn't pay $9 for a whole friggin turkey! Yeah, I know... prepare to be ripped off. That's why they make you use coupons instead of cash! :twisted::gun:

    Will do! Plenty of salt & ketchup!!!

    One of the things I wanna see is a 'smart house' that's on display. Patterned after the 'smart car' -- it's only big enough for one person to live in, totally self contained (solar power, etc) and costs $40K for a kit. Give me 5 acres of land and a smart house and don't bother me anymore. LOL, a gal can dream can't she???

    Sounds like paradise to me! Reminds me of a friend telling me one time, when middle son was moving back in for the second time - 'get rid of your couches and extra beds...if you make room for him, he'll never leave'..LOL I could have used that smart house then.

    Maybe we could buy 10 or so acres together, put up two smart houses, and tell the rest of the world...well, you get the idea.:mrgreen:
