I agree with him completely. So many Americans are so easily fooled by the pros in the Pentagon and their media.

There is a purpose to this distraction, but I'm not sure what it is.

 

So just ignore it huh.
Cause so many people were thrilled when one made it so far inland.

 

I ask you the same question I ask my friends and brothers who are apparently scared silly by this balloon--can you please explain in a rational manner just how that balloon or any other threatens you and yours?

I've accused my frightened brothers of reacting very much like Pavlov's dogs.

 

Not ignoring something doesn't equal fear.

 

Snowden might be a rotten piece of ****, but he's not wrong about this.

 

That's pretty much the same sort of rationalization offered by my brothers. Are fear and anxiety the same thing? Looks like it to me.

 

Speaking the truth in a time of universal deception is a radical act.

 

Anxiety is a condition, fear is a survival tool.
Neither have anything to do with paying attention.

Actually both can have alot to do with paying attention, but neither have anything to do with rational analysis. Indeed, both work in favor of emotions and against rational analysis.

 

In his case Russia offers much more freedom than the US does. Same for Julian Assange, imprisoned in Britain for publishing the truth about government crimes.

 

I don't believe these balloons present any real threat. Nor do I think this is some "distraction".
