So, are Obama birth certificate threads not conspiracy theories anymore?

    Native Born means being born on the soil. Now, if your siblings were in fact born on an Army base, that is different. For that the base is considered U.S. soil, just as it was for John McCain.

    And the 14th Amendment made it so that a foriegn born Citizen no longer had to Naturalize. Before the 14th Amendment they did. That is ALL the 14th Amendment did.

    Native born or natural born have identical rights and can be President..

    Only "naturalized" citizens cannot.

    I think you are reading that failed druggy lawyer Lee Donofrio.. He refers to the INS stuff.. but that has to do with IMMIGRATION..

    You see.. US citizenship isn't about "feeeelings".. its about LAW.

    The Constituion is very clear on the fact that ONLY a Natural Born Citizen can become President, Article 2 Section 1.

    Natural-born citizen

    Who is a natural-born citizen? Who, in other words, is a citizen at birth, such that that person can be a President someday?


    The 14th Amendment defines citizenship this way: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside." But even this does not get specific enough.

    As usual, the Constitution provides the framework for the law, but it is the law that fills in the gaps.

    The Constitution authorizes the Congress to do create clarifying legislation in Section 5 of the 14th Amendment; the Constitution, in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4, also allows the Congress to create law regarding naturalization, which includes citizenship.

    Currently, Title 8 of the U.S. Code fills in the gaps left by the Constitution. Section 1401 defines the following as people who are "citizens of the United States at birth:"

    •Anyone born inside the United States *
    •Any Indian or Eskimo born in the United States, provided being a citizen of the U.S. does not impair the person's status as a citizen of the tribe
    •Any one born outside the United States, both of whose parents are citizens of the U.S., as long as one parent has lived in the U.S.
    •Any one born outside the United States, if one parent is a citizen and lived in the U.S. for at least one year and the other parent is a U.S. national
    •Any one born in a U.S. possession, if one parent is a citizen and lived in the U.S. for at least one year
    •Any one found in the U.S. under the age of five, whose parentage cannot be determined, as long as proof of non-citizenship is not provided by age 21
    •Any one born outside the United States, if one parent is an alien and as long as the other parent is a citizen of the U.S. who lived in the U.S. for at least five years (with military and diplomatic service included in this time)
    •A final, historical condition: a person born before 5/24/1934 of an alien father and a U.S. citizen mother who has lived in the U.S.

    * There is an exception in the law — the person must be "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States. This would exempt the child of a diplomat, for example, from this provision.

    Anyone falling into these categories is considered natural-born, and is eligible to run for President or Vice President. These provisions allow the children of military families to be considered natural-born, for example.

    Not sure where you are getting this information, but it is wrong...

    The 14th Amendment says NOTHING about "Natural Born". Yet the Constitution requires that to become President.

    And yet again, being a "Citizen" at birth does NOT make you a "Natural Born Citizen". If it did, it wouldn't matter where Obama was born now, would it?

    The fact that it does should tell you something.

    I agree, they are talking about Citizenship, period.

    That is different than Natural Born Citizenship.

    Not sure what you don't get about that?

    My siblings were NOT born on a US Army base.. They were born in an oil camp.. and they are Natural born/native born because our parents were US citizens (Natural born).. and because their births were registered at the US Consulate.

    They can all run for the Presidency.. just like thousand of other US citizens born overseas.

    The challenge to McCain's citizenship was moronic and based on a 6th grade memory of a lousy civics class.

    They are NOT Native Born then. Since Native Born simply has to do with being "Born on the Soil". Your siblings therefore must be considered just Citizens because they are not Natural Born Citizens, by definition. They would have been, if being born on the soil were not a requirement, but it seems it is. Otherwise, the ONLY requirement would be having Citizen Parents, which YOU seem to believe is not a requirement, right?

    So then, by your OWN standards they cannot be considered Natural Born Citizens, right? Or are you going to make it so they are and the requirements for Obama is different than for your own siblings?

    If we went by the Naturalization Act of 1790, they would in FACT be "Natural Born", since the only requirement, at that time, was being born to Citizen Parents, no matter where they were born.

    Americans give birth overseas every day.. They register the birth at the US Consulate.. and their children are classified as "US citizens at birth"... the same as if they had been born on US soil.

    Obama was born on US soil so he is a 'US citizen at birth".. if he had been born overseas, his mother would have registered his birth at the nearest US Consulate.

    He would NOT be naturalized unless he was a foreign national at birth.

    If Obama's father had remained in the US, he could have applied for naturalized citizenship status.

    I agree he is a Citizen at Birth.

    That does NOT make him a Natural Born Citizen, no matter what you say.

    Laws cannot change the Laws of Nature.

    It has NOTHING to do with 'Laws of Nature".. its about US law..

    Every country has different laws.

    Like Indonesia.. No dual citizenship is permitted and you must be 18 years old to apply.

    Natural Born is in fact citing the Laws of Nature...

    So again, if being born a Citizen made you Natural Born, why would it matter where Obama was born?

    And yes, I am a Natural Born U.S. Citizen because I was both born in the U.S. and BOTH of my parents are U.S. Citizens.

    The obama apologists like to live in this fairy tale land that there havent been any forgery experts that have said its a forgery when there has been over a hundred and thats because they are listening to the idiot box in the living room which is just a tool for the government.

    Independent news sources not controlled by the corporate media are not withholding these forgery experts voices like the corporate controlled media is.they wont look at alternative media sources not controlled by the establishment.they just want to live in denial.

    This is what the Obama apologist in denial about a foreigner running our country continue to do everyday of their lives no matter HOW MANY TIMES it is stated to them from the people that have come on here saying that to be eligible to be president, both of your parents have to have been born in the united states.when they hear that Barry Sotoros father was not born here in the states.This is what they do.:fart::blahblah: Besides covering their ears and closing their eyes.

    Obama's father was a British subject in the US on a student visa.. and as such he was under US jurisdiction.

    That's the law.. Do you understand US jurisdiction?

    The "double allegiance" at birth DOESN"T count! It only counts if a person swears allegiance to another country AFTER he becomes an adult.

    Stop playing dumb. I did post a very clear statement of that fact (several times in fact), and it even said that the natural born person, although he had spend his chilhood year in another country, although his father was not a natural born citizen of the US, and although he had given up his citizenship when he swore allegiance to Germany, the SON, who was born in the US and taken to Germany as a child, by no fault of his own, had the RIGHT to his birthright and even "in time, if elected, become President of the US."

    You have seen that decision. . .you have had a chance to go to the entire link if you wanted to. . . you have NEVER answered or commented on that link because you are dishonnest, and you prefer to ignore a statement of fact, rather than let go of your "birther dream!"

    Yes. . .and ANY CHILD, regardless of his parent (or parents) citizenship, is a natural born citizen IF HE WAS BORN ON US TERRITORY, even if he lives in another country as a child, even if his parents adopt the nationality of that foreign country, the child has the right WHEN HE BECOMES AN ADULT to claim his birthright: His "natural born citizenship" and he is eligible to run for President of the United States (Steinkauler case).


    And you KNOW that, as I have posted that information about 8 times, with the link to the full decision.
