humble, sensible, and religious, or is it vain, asinine, and pagan? Jeremiah 10:2-4 Thus says the Lord: “Learn not the way of the nations, nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them, for the customs of the peoples are vanity. A tree from the forest is cut down and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman. They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it cannot move.
I believe she thinks the left wants to “cancel” Christmas. As if they somehow have the power to do that. Just another thing certain people are paranoid about.
Hahahah…Reading comprehension not your forte, eh? I laugh as I am sitting next to our Christmas tree writing this.
I'm not a religious person at all, but I love Christmas (and all the holidays around it). I love family taking a break from other things to spend time together, to give to others, to decorate and celebrate with food and lights. We love to get together and bake cookies and have big dinners together. I can see why so many people would have a problem with this.
Neither can I. There are a bunch on the left who have come up with excuses for canceling all of the important holidays in western culture. It's part of their plan to rewrite history and remake the world. I'm old and don't have a lot years left. It won't affect me, but it will take the joy out of life for a great many people, including the children, who find a lot of magic during this time of the year. Some on the left are never happy or satisfied. Taking grumpy side of everything is the only thing that makes them happy, as evidenced by that climate change obsessed teenager Gretta. It's had to think of a more unpleasant person.
Nah, she's just like most Scandinavian girls and really BADLY needs to get laid. Since she's 18 now I happily volunteer[/QUOTE]
It's, an individual right. Anyone who doesn't like it can not celebrate Christmas and short of that, mind their own business.
Jeremiah has zilch to do with decorated Christmas trees. It's addressing cutting a tree for its wood to be used to carve an idol then decorating that wooden idol, transporting it and then worshiping it. I don;t know anyone who worships their decorated Christmas tree.
Come on, you're not new at this. You created a post stating that, I asked about it, therefore I didn't bring it up. This entire thread is a fail on your part.
