So is it the evil left wing media who is attacking trump, or is it a GOP backstab

So the idea is being floated that people were told to cooperate with Wolff on his book by GOP insiders and suggested it might have been preibus who directed people to interview with Wolff. Sebastian gorka seems to be saying he was told to interview but declined because he thought it would hurt the president.

Did the left really have the power and influence in the trump white house to bring out such a book, or was this all part of a plan by the GOP to attack trump? This goes along with old GOP strategies like swift boating where they publish damaging books at pivotal times to weaken their opponents. Only this time they may be weakening trump before his fight against impeachment.

If this is true this is a sign they are going to go after him and impeach him. To do that they need to weaken him because a fight against him and his hold on their base would be damaging to the party in the midterms. However, if they could separate him from his base they could impeach and put pence in and dump all the fail onto trump which might be good for them shoring up independent votes and financial backing.

With the present spin on the attacks being the left wing media being behind the attacks they might save themselves some backlash from their base for destroying trump and trying to pin it on then left while the GOP planned it all along. Hillary has some power, but I do not think she could have told loyal republicans to give these stupid interviews.

Now that Trump has signed the Tax Bill, there is really no reason for corporate America or the GOP to continue backing Trump. They'll throw him under the bus at the first opportunity.

Did they need trump to pass that? I would have figured you could have used Hillary or another republican for all of that. Trump is a huge distraction for just a tax bill. It seems like a waste of a really good smoke screen for that.

The rich in California, New York, etc aren't going to be to happy with Trump, that's for sure.

They'll likely just move state though so I suppose you're right.
