I don't care how many times you think you are explaining it, Biden broke the law. In many ways the documents were more likely to be compromised by Biden than Trump. And only Trump is being prosecuted.

 

Wherever there is an unbiased jury will be fine.

Not a polling source I trust. With that said, and assuming the numbers were reasonably accurate when the poll was conducted, it does little to reassure me. The fact the race is as close as it is shows just how feeble the Democrats are at rallying support to their side. The Democrats should be able to run an actual donkey against Trump and easily win. The fact the race is so close is nothing for the Democrats to be proud of.

Even if Trump is found criminally guilty, I doubt it will do much to change his standing in the race. If Trump wins, I will place 100% of the blame on Democrat incompetence.

Well I honestly believe a New York jury will be more honest and less biased than an Oklahoma jury.

If he's convicted it will affect the race. Races are decided by the middle who are not hard core.

Yet the middle elected him before thus it can happen again. I think it would be unwise to underestimate support for Trump lest the sting we never Trumpers felt in 2016 be revisited. Unless Democrats replace Biden then an unknown number of moderates like I will vote 3rd party or perhaps stay home and get drunk or stoned… or maybe both!

There is no way to replace Biden.It's too late logistically speaking. Additionally, as an incumbent, it's his to take.

 

I’m not so sure a hush money trial, even if convicted would change where things stand today. 91 federal indictments didn’t change anything. A conviction in the New York fraud trial didn’t change anything. Trump has led Biden by a couple to 5 points since September of last year. I think the trials that could change things if they happen would be the two federal trials where prison time is an option.


I think you need to remember that both Trump and Biden are disliked and unwanted by most Americans to become their next president. Enthusiasm to vote in the upcoming presidential election isn’t there. At least as of today. Only Trump and Biden avid supporters are enthusiastic. How do Americans view these two candidates? 34% of all Americans have a favorable view of Biden, but not Trump. 37% of all Americans have a favorable view of Trump but not Biden. Then you have 26% of all Americans who view both Trump and Biden unfavorably. Add those who view one or the other unfavorable to those who view both unfavorably, you have over 60% of all Americans who have a negative view of Trump and another 60% who view Biden negatively.

Few Americans are looking forward to this upcoming rematch. 64% say this country needs another choice other than Trump and Biden. Both major parties sure know how to pick the most disliked and unwanted candidates which I suppose is their way of telling most Americans to stick it where the sun don’t shine.

Then do a little more research before you declare you don't trust a particular poll. Polls are polls and the outliers are well known and Morning Consult isn't one of them.

 

Biden has gotten a bad rap because of inflation, which was worldwide and due to the pandemic and not really his fault yet, republicans will never tell the truth on that point.
