Women suiting as the want more pay, while keeping other privileges.

Fine. Then let the women play with the men. Lets see how good they are=) There wouldn't be any women in the league. You'd never see any female tennis players on TV. Forget about Basketball too. MMA? Boxing? Forget about it. There basically wouldn't be any women in sports at all, because they wouldn't be able to compete unless they take steroids. Baseball perhaps. Maybe skiing, volleyball or bowling? Not much though.

Your pay in sports is directly related to a combination of your ability to win and how much ad revenue you bring in from sponsors. Women are simply not as fun to watch. They don't bring the crowds. Sometimes in Tennis and the Olympics, but it is what it is.

 

The floor routines in the gymnastics are very popular with the men.

Maybe if these women soccer teams wore tighter shorts their revenue would go up and they could make more money.

 

Should the WNBA players make the same income as the NBA players?

Keep in mind the NBA has $15 billion in annual revenue, while the WNBA has $60 million in annual revenue. So the NBA makes 250 times more money.

They're paid based on revenue, and the womens team didnt make anything because nobody cares.

The WNBA wouldnt even exist if it wasnt subsidized by the NBA, because nobody cares about that either.

 

The WOMENS soccer team from America competes very well against every foreign country in the world,the men's team is pathetic against good foreign teams.

 

Doesnt matter if the womens soccer team never lost a game.

Nobody watches, and their salaries are based on their team revenue.

 

My daughter played competitive soccer and now plays in college. We have been to many professional soccer games over the years. Even she disagrees with this law suit. The pay is commiserate with the revenue. Yes the US women's soccer team has better results than the US men's team....but the men's team brings in more $$$$, hence they get more compensation. Unless the women can prove they bring in the same revenue as the men they don't have a leg to stand on.

And no, the women soccer players cannot compete with the men soccer players.

 

Yeah, it’s pretty ridiculous that the team that has actually won championships is paid less than the team is widely a laughingstock.

 

What a complete and utter joke. There's a reason why Ronaldo made $108 million last year, and it has everything to do with merit and absolutely zero do to with discrimination. I'm unsure how they'd even rectify this, where are they going to get $108 million from to pay the top female association football star? Their asses?

Or, more likely, they want to cut Ronaldo's pay in half and give the rest to whoever his female equivalent is.

Does this need to be replicated in Netball?

If less people attend, or view female soccer games than their male counterparts, how do you expect female players to earn as much as males?

The burning question that the Fake MSM Media refuses to ask is this:

How much revenue does women's soccer produce in ticket sales total money vs. the revenue of men's soccer in ticket sales total money, and is the pay in proportion to production.

If women's soccer produces higher ticket sales total money then women players should be paid more than men players.

if the ladie's soccer played in bikinis, like in BV, I'd watch, and there's no good reason they shouldn't really.

How soon before transgenders take over and force out the lesbians in female sports?

 

A few thoughts:
1: someone asked what you would prefer: to find a $10 bill lying on a sidewalk, or a women's soccer team ticket? That tells you about the value of that ticket.
2: If there are untapped millions waiting for women soccer players (as alleged stating the league just isn't promoting women players enough), as of 2015, women in the US have more money in the US than men then, ladies: form your own damn Soccer League and really rake it in! But that isn't reality. The reality is, these entitled princesses believe they have struck on yet another way to transfer money away from men that earn it and have it transferred to women that did not. How much more can men take?

PS: Isn't it odd you have this controversial matter on the MSM and they appear to speak to only one side of the argument?

 

they need to learn some basic economics. when they become in higher demand that their male counterparts, they will make more money. but then again, it’s soccer so who cares?
