    This is interesting.

The Space Force Wants Opinions About Its Proposed Rank Insignia

The Space Force is surveying its members about the rank insignia designs they'd like to affix to their shirt and jacket sleeves.

Mock-ups of enlisted rank insignias from E-2 to E-9 have surfaced on social media in recent days. One survey posted on the popular, but unaffiliated Air Force Facebook page Amn/Nco/Snco, shows four options to choose from: One is notably similar to the Air Force's insignias, while another has the curved "rocker rank" look used for Marine Corps and Army patches.

Frankly I kind of like the the ranks on column one. Although I'm still made that they decided to go with Air Force ranks for the officers rather than naval ranks. If we're going to have a Starfleet, I want a Starfleet rank structure.

I like lines one and two. The bottom two lines are too busy and hard to read. If I had to pick one, I would go with the top line because I like the curved arch behind the triangle/badge thing. But, I also don't like the bottom part because it's busy like the bottom two lines, and, it's hard to count the number of bars(?). I like the bottom of the second row. Of the higher ranks. It's nice and curved and it's easier to count the number of stripes(?) below the triangle/badge thing.

Line two looks more like Air Force ranks. Line one looks like something more "futuristic" to me, so more appropriate for Starfleet...I mean Space Force.
