Starting to get tired of this forum

There are ridiculous numbers of people who think they are going to change peoples' minds or have any sort of affect on American politics, race issues, gay issues, etc. (look at the abortion and religion forums, they are just one long argument under endlessly repeated threads, by the same thread creators).

I think the key to enjoying places like this one is to simply discern who has something to say... and who doesn't.
I tend to straddle that line, with my posts. Although I'm sure many would say I have nothing, lol.

All these people saying they are "thinking about leaving", or "taking a hiatus", are only going to find the very same thing no matter where they go.
At least the population here at PF raises the odds of finding actual substance.

I don't understand why people take all this so seriously.

 

I guess since the only substance you seem to have is insulting Right wingers.... you likely won't be missed.
Even by the rational Progressives.




Finding a home where all they do is bash Republicans won't be hard.
Since most forums are just that.

I do find that there has been a tilt to the right even in the year and a half since I started posting here, but I kind of like it, as all my other circles are generally left wing, so it's nice to get opposing view points. Plus it helps that I can skip passed the partisan BS pretty quickly so that's good.

 

Not to worry - I'm not leaving any time soon. Glad to know you appreciate the TRUTH.
