amazing! the ENTIRE court including Kagan and Sotomeyer agree that this is illegal on SEVERAL grounds. That's good news. It's completely reasonable for law enforcement agencies to have the ability to use this kind of technology, but they shouldn't be able to do so on a whim. If they have a good case with justifiable reasoning, they shouldn't have any trouble getting the warrant anyways.
It IS good news...especially that ALL the Justices agreed. Maybe we will see some of the abuses under the Patriot Act get rolled back.
