Just think of it as a reverse Christmas, oops, I mean Holiday, present from Obamacare, coming in 2014. Don't worry, it's only for 4 years. I'm sure the gubmint will remove it's hand from your pockets as soon as that 4 years are over, they have such a good history of doing so. And besides, pre-existing conditions will cease to exist in 4 years anyway. Personally, I can't wait for all the surprises in store for us pertaining to Obamacare...but I'm a long distance runner who enjoys pain. $63 pre-existing condition fee on its way
This was not a surprise, it was always part of the plan. Its $5.25 per month to guarantee people who have a pre-existing condition will still be able to buy health insurance. But the Righties had been SCREAMING about the increased prices of covering pre-existing conditions, and here it IS! $63 per YEAR! Not a bad deal , if you think about it since there is NOBODY who is immune to that situation. Even if you THINK you are paying for insurance you may lose it. When I sold insurance, I ran into people who had had health insurance premiums taken out of their paychecks but the company had NOT been paying the premiums, so not only did everyone end up without insurance, they were without for several months so ANYONE with any existing conditions could not buy replacement insurance on their own, or even those who had surgery or medical procedures during this period owed HUGE bills out of their OWN pockets!

Wasn't the bill titles the AFFORDABLE Care Act? This isn't just a $63 dollar charge. It is $63 on top of the $2,500 the premiums will be on all of my employees next year. I am dumbfounded that liberals believe that a $2,56 in insurance costs is affordable. How much more expensive does healthcare have to get before liberals will finally admit that the bill is a massive failure? And tell me, if a person cannot afford health insurance, how in the world are they supposed to afford more expensive health insurance? If a person cannot afford more expensive health insurance, how can they afford more expensive health insurance plus a $1,200 IRS penalty? The Affordable Care Act is Orwellian in its naming.

Health Insurance can be bought from 1 of 3 companies, at slightly over $700.00....... a Month.... $8,400.00 a year, is the Cheapest policy available 'round here... Bring on the Federal exchange,.... Maybe I'll be able to buy reasonably priced insurance from Outside, NYS.....

The Only policy you can buy, is a covers everything, 'n everybody policy...per the progressives in Albany... I gladly pay, outa pocket, for annual visits, tests, 'n whatnots,... birth control,.. I just want a high-deductible policy for a heart attack, or whatever, Catastrophic type coverage...
