It can be, I don't think it's quite as good when the water's low. Fossil hunting is better with the low water in my opinion. I mean don't get me wrong there's fish there but you got to try to find them concentrated in the deeper holes. Just ordered a nice tent from Amazon, and the girlfriend finished up her cancer treatment yesterday so when she build some strength back up and starts feeling better I'm going to take my vacation and we're going to camp a night or two on the river
Chewy, is probably moderately intelligent. He will probably be more so if I had more time and the ability to train a dog. My life circumstances took an unexpected turn shortly after I got him. Unfortunately when I'm at work he has to be in a very large crate inside because he likes to pee on things. I have a very big cable run for him outside. He really should have been some kid's dog growing up on a ranch. Dude never stops. And he is absolutely vicious when he wants to be. Probably a good thing he only weighs 20 lb instead of 60
Great pictures FatBack. Your little Chewy looks like a fun little dog. He looks like he would be easy to train.
Ah.. a Remington.. I regret having traded my brace some years ago, in fact I've regretted every fire arm trade where I gave up a weapon.
Looks like I possibly spy a heritage single action 22 revolver in addition to, a double barrel shotgun obviously, a box for a 50 caliber Hawkeb rifle from Cabela's. Do I see a single shot shotgun from New England arms there? A flintlock pistol? Mine is a Remington clone from pietta of Italy. I believe it was made in the mid 80s I looked up the mark in the archives sometime ago. Next time the boat goes out my gun and my dog go with me. The grip of that revolver looks slightly reminiscent of a lematt.... On second thought ( the darker colored handled one )
I don't even remeber some of those shot guns,, Had a 10 ga with a dent inthe4 barrel, it's there, I think that is the single shot winchester 410, which I regret trading off, still got one of the single shot sawed off 12 ga, don't remeber the othe rone, the chrome revolver is a 45, another revolver is a .38 with a birds head grip, got it for wifey , as the grip is really too small for me, a couple of cap and bal pistol in .45, gun belt and a couple of pounds of Mexican silver coins. Forgive the typos, this time of day I am sitting on the sofa , at home, with my wireless KB and Mouse.
