Amazing what constitutes discussing politics on talk back radio in some quarters. Amazing what constitutes the criteria for discussion of politics on talk back radio in some quarters.

    Here, a sample:

This from a moronic, sexist, brain-dead, Alan Jones-Talk-Back-Listener - who is referring to Julia Gillard:

“The Australian taxpayer even pays for the toilet paper she uses. Does she go down to the chemist to buy her tampons? Or is the Australian taxpayer paying for that as well. In my opinion, Julia Gillard is a piece of crap.”

    To which Alan Jones responds:

“Okay, well in my opinion, you made a lot of valid points. We’ve just got to avoid in our criticism the personal.”

    AS IF!!!

Wow, so actual people actually listen to this moronic gutter radio program - and yes, the same moronic, gutter program spewing carbon-tax-loony-tunes.

In the following video, Alan Jones snorts angrily:

“…they should shove her (Julia Gillard) and Bob Brown in a chaff bag and take them as far out to sea as they can and tell them to swim home.”

Is that inflammatory? On the disgusting side? Bloody oath!!

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsaVpepMyA8&feature=player_embedded"]‪Alan Jones suggests throwing Julia Gillard "out to sea in a chaff bag"‬‏ - YouTube[/ame]

So this portion of dickhead culture seemingly alive and well in this country. Forget any notion of any of it being “political commentary” – because it is just nasty and divisive CRAP. Amazing what the ******** gets away with. Alan Jones is an absolute prick.

Just try to see the funny side...

Said in any other country AJ would be dead now, partly why Australia is so awesome. Also JG deserves to cop a fair bit of criticism for her pre-election promise she wouldn't introduce a carbon tax and post election carbon tax, and its rightfully pissed a lot of people off.

three things must be kept in mind here...
1 There is a LOT of hate out there in the public for julia gillard and bob brown there are a lot of us that would be happy to see em put into a chaff bag.

2 freedom of the press and freedom of speech. Who's to say he is WRONG...

3 the labor party has lied and been deceitful its its dealings..they are stuff the country up big time and its good to hear someone in the media that tells it as it is.. If you dont like what he has to say then simply dont listen to it..

Cherry picking any talk back can give you anything you like. His stance on AGW maybe against yours but you need not listen to them.

He has the freedom of speech and his flamboyant style could quiet well offend, but remember he is a SHOCK JOCK. and that is what you are complaining about.

The only thing you can really take from these talk back programs is the opinion of the people who call them. Yes, they can quiet easily manipulate the callers, but due to the fact that politicians and other renowned parties follow these programs, show it does not matter if you agree, public opinion is expressed on these programs. There is no point complaining how it is expressed, unless it is purely vulgar. The first comment is uncalled for and vulgar, the second is not. You could argue he should have canned the caller for that comment, and perhaps he did( I did not listen to the link), I will take your word if you know.

While I do believe that there is much bias to the sitting government on the ABC, for obvious reasons.

I think you may find that others can show this to be wrong.

More celebrities should come out and speak publicly against this carbon tax, if they truely love this country.

Its a sham its a hoax and just like a fish on a line we are being guided towards a carbon tax with absolutely no say at all and by a minority government that didn't even win the election.

Labor = Liars, fascism and dictatorship.

My Lord, the megalomaniac attacks the prime minister for being 10 minutes late for an interview. Barks at the prime minister: "We're all busy!" Maintains a particularly ugly ranting tirade of utter rudeness and disrespect to the prime minister all the way through. Continually calls her "Julia" all the way through. The man is an absolute cretin.

A prime minister, barked at and attacked for being 10 minutes late to an interview.

Julia Gillard's comportment was excellent. Showed him up for the GRUB he is.

Here is the interview. The attack on her being 10 minutes late at start of interview. It beggars belief. The man has a serious mental illness.

What you call the funny side... is society in action. To have to think of one part of society falling over this clown and worshipping him and taking him seriously... is a very sad indictment on society.

I don't share your sense of the awesome - in this regard. Alan Jones is a pig that should be off the air. JG deserves a fair bit of critisism? Do you mean shrill, megalomaniac, mentally deranged kind of critisism? (See radio broadcast above.)

You strike me as an Alan Jones kind of guy.

If Alan Jones wasn't the "desperate" kind of shrill individual he is, perhaps he'd manage to come across a bit more like a human being. But sounds like it's too late for that - he's already permeated in utter grubbiness.

He is that. He's not well, either. Yet some people mistake his illness for something that they think they should follow...

That's how the concept of a sick society spreads...

You support utter aggressiveness, contempt, and inflammatory things being said about the prime minister by radio announcer, Alan Jones. You should be ashamed of yourself. If you think it's okay for a radio program host to say on his program that he wants to put the prime minister in a chaff bag and throw her out to sea, you need your head read.

    Who's to say he's wrong?

My Lord, I knew we acquired something of a loopy strain to this section, but I didn't realise it was to this extent.

It's okay, according to you for a public figure - a broadcaster - to say - to wish a vile act of putting the prime minister in a chaff bag and throwing her out to sea.

    Unbelievable.

Tell us how you really feel. What a crock. Liars, fascism and dictatorship? Did you get that from your grubby friend, Alan?

Keep it up, Dumb. Keep spreading the "numbness" all over this section.

No, not any of that. It's about demeanor and comportment. It's about character. His character is bad. He's not a convincing salesman for anything... while maintaining a revolting, indecent character like that.

Whatever he has, and I would not call it "flamboyance" - it can be pretty clear now that he has well and truly shot himself in the foot as far as ever getting the prime minister on his program again.

I am not complaining about him being a shock jock. I am complaining about his BEHAVIOUR. About his lack of dignity and decency. He is a blight and a fat wart on the landscape.

Like attracts like, I guess. A bit like how Shane Warne was once caught with an inflatable doll in a compromising situation... and I remember thinking then that like attracts like. Shane Warne being rather "inflated" himself... found his match.

Same for Alan Jones. The frothing dingbats come out of their caves...

It's OK Gweny, go and make yourself a nice cup of tea and sit down for awhile. Nasty Alan Jones can't hurt you, he can't come out of the radio. It might be best if you stop listening to him.

What is wrong with him putting a voice to what a LOT of us out there think and feel? As for the contempt, considering the contempt that woman shows for the public i think she got off rather lightly.
You may not like what he has to say and there is a cure for that...its called an off switch.

you say WE are loopy? LOL just a mere projection of your own thoughts and opinions gwen.
I would suggest you take another panadol and go for a lay down...there is a lot more anti green and anti labor stuff on the way mate.

It's okay, Aduly, I don't listen. And I hate tea, so bad call there. The first was a Media Watch piece and the second link I posted after reading the moron attacked and castigated the prime minister for being ten minutes late.

Given we've got some of Alan Jones backing vocalists with us here now, knowing any little thing about Alan Jones, may go some little way towards explaining / putting their peculiar strain of posting here into perspective.

The ACMA (Australian Communications & Media Authority) is investigating a complaint about alleged inaccuracies Alan Jones made on climate change.

NO! No way. O, NO - that can't be right! :omg:

I love Alan Jones explanation of himself here:

    YET:

Sure, he can have an opinion. But he cannot tamper with FACTS. Which is what he does. Foolish git.

    The FACTS of climate change!!

    LOL

Most of it is long term guess work at best!

Jones should be able to give his opinion on anything, right or wrong.

Enough of this media censorship crap FFS.
