The Disturbing trial of Johnny Depp - Cancel Culture - Propaganda

I do recall that Depp was labelled the abuser when this first became public. There was some video on a phone with him and a wine bottle or something?

This thread is about the trial .. is my OP .. and the Trial is much discussed .. in particular - false accusations of sexual misconduct.

Do you have anything other than making up falsehoods and attaching those falsehoods to others mate .. just checking for future reference

 

Heard is true Sociopath .. down to the short and curlies.. The abuse this guy took was just unbelievable .. not just verbal .. which was right out of a scary movie .. but physical .. dude lost part of his finger .. and while in hospital recovering from that had a cigarette but jammed in his face. ..

 

This has nothing to do with cancel culture. Both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were married, in 2015, and divorced, in August of 2016. This whole trial is a rehash of that divorce and the settlement therein. Amber Heard is what you may call "one scorned woman" and "hell hath no fury than a scorned woman."

 

It is literally a he said/she said issue. And this happens in most divorce cases BTW. Whether or not there is evidence will be based on the believability of both Johnny Depp's witnesses and Amber Heard's witnesses. And both sides have not proven their case whatsoever at this point. I don't think Johnny Depp will win, but that does not mean Amber Heard won either.

 

Ok, still doesn't change the fact that cancel culture and the woman must be believed have nothing to do with the whole thing.

 

"Women must be believed" has a whole lot to do with false accusation of sexual misconduct. Absurd nonsense to claim otherwise mate .. got things all mixed up and backwards.. completely wrong at everyturn .. but do appreciate a post without false accusation .. kudo's for that.

 

Funny ... I thought false accusations of sexual misconduct "Women must be believed" - has something to do with "Cancel Culture" .. not that it matters what label we give this mindless Blue ideology .. call it "Mindless Blue Ideology" rather than cancel culture if you like - but how do you define cancel culture ? and why would this not fit the definition.

 

"Women must be believed" in the "he said she said" .. so it is not really a "he said she said" as much as it is a "she's right and he is guilty"

I believe we shouldn't be dismissive of allegations of rape or sexual misconduct on a prima facie basis; however, legally, it still must be proven. This whole Amber Heard v Johnny Depp issue is a rehash of the divorce, pure and simple, and by that, no "cancel culture" argument is being made except by you.

 

It has yet to be determined if it is false or not. And if Johnny Depp does not win does not mean the accusations are true either. Depp does have a history of domestic abuse through his alcoholism and drug abuse. and this has been ongoing with Johnny Depp with the Sun and other tabloid organizations who have chronicled Johnny Depp's behavior, most of which has been, shall we say, on the weird side.

 

Agree we should not be dismissive .. of the allegations of each of the parties and that it must be legally proven. Your claim that "Women must be believed" is not a "Cancel Culture" argument is simply false .. the progressive clown show defending this position with the most mind twisting of claims and pronoucements.

 

Not my cup of tea from a looks perspective .. but is her personality that makes her really ugly - just a nasty human being .. a piece of human garbage .. the worst sort of individual.

ISTM their use of drugs and the subsequent consequences are costing them a whole lot of money.

I never saw this as political.

I will say that listening to some of Depp's testimony he is in no position to call anybody stupid or uneducated. He sounds like a dumb hick half pickled on moonshine.
