https://slate.com/business/2022/03/...ight-what-regulators-are-doing-to-fix-it.html Part of the issue is the blue light generated. Blue light has a higher frequency than “normal” light, yet is measured as “normal” light by the NHTSA. This is a mistake by people who should know better. We as drivers all know what is going on on: the new headlights are too bright. Driving glasses help, but reduce total vision input. So here we are. More people driving with mirrors tilted down, a hand up to block the incoming light on grades and turns. “Auto tracking and adjusting lights” is one more doo-dad to get screwed up. The simplest solution? Polarized headlight lenses and polarized windshields or cheap polarized driving glasses.
