The experiment in democracy has come to an end

Across the entire history of humans and humanoids for tens of thousands of years 99.9999% of people to ever live have lived under authoritarian non-elected governments. Nearly all people were impoverished slaves, servants, peasants, serfs with no real concept of human, civil or individual rights. Yet humanity has survived and grown.

The American experiment in democracy was predicted to ultimately fail at many levels:
1. Mob rule is ignorant and easily manipulated rule (Which is true)
2. People will figure they can use government to steal money for themselves and vote accordingly (Elections now mostly are about economic promises)
3. People tend to oppose anything different from themselves, so Americans will become the most imprisoned and regulated people in the world (which happened).
4. The rich can buy all newspapers and therefore information sources become just propaganda of the rich (which has happened)
5. Voters do not matter, only who counts the vote matters. (Voter fraud as has happened).

The 24/7 bioterrorism campaign of the MSM of the richest people on earth continues to destroy their only competition - middle class merchants - in pursuit of the USA being 1% rich and powerful and 99% servants of the rich. The covid-19 campaign has been exorbitantly successful for the rich and powerful to fully take over - and they have. Accept that fact.

In my opinion, the USA has now become a corporate fascist mix between being a plutocracy and kleptocracy. Elections are only a facade and diversion from reality to falsely convince us peasants that we are relevant.

Americans, like the rest of the human race, will live as it has always lived, under the thumb of some version of authoritarian government for which nearly all people are mere servants - or worse - of the rich and powerful. The experiment in democracy was barely a blink of the eye in the overall history of humanity - and that experiment failed as philosophers and sociologists at the time predicted. But that does not mean you can't survive. Rather, it means it best you accept your trivial faceless and powerless place in society.

The more you live in reality - rather than the false illusions of democracy - the more you stop believing that you have legal, civil and human rights - the better, safer and less frustrating your life will be. Accept that in terms of power you are exactly nobody. The old phrase was "you are the salt of the earth." None of you matter individually. Rather, you are just a worker bee of the hive run by and for the rich and powerful. Nothing more. But slave owners have to feed their slaves and lords have to provide minimal survival needs to their servants. And that's who most of you are - servants of the rich and powerful of the world.

 

We are becoming serfs. Look how fear alone has given authoritarians the power to destroy small businesses while enriching the most powerful and big business.

Strict adherence to protocols to prevent COVID's spread were required in the US to avoid the kind of third wave we're experiencing. But between those conservatives who refused to comply and those who just didn't believe COVID was real (thanks to Don and right wing media propaganda/disinformation) we have the world's worst outbreak. Look no further than yourselves for current measures to slow the spread and keep deaths to a minimum. It didn't have to be this way.

When government orders a mom and pop independent little clothing store an illegal business, while keeping the clothing department of WalMarts open, the goal of destroying middle class merchants isn't even questionable.

Study human history. Virtually all human and civil rights was the result of a rising middle/merchant class with enough resources to challenge the rich and powerful. For the rich and powerful to have absolute power the merchant class must be eliminated. Take control of all info outlets (TV, newspapers, internet) as the richest corporations and people have and no opposition can be organized, assuming the 24/7 corporate-fascist propaganda isn't enough.

 

All experts including Fauci and the US Surgeon general - and all networks - insisted wearing masks will spread covid-19. That only changed when covid-19 because a political tool to seize power, destroy the merchant class and condition people to be totally controlled.

In fact, those areas with the most covid-19 deaths are the areas with the strictest mask and stay-indoors orders - exactly as the experts predicted would happen.

Unfortunately, I find nothing untrue in the OP's comments. How depressing though. I have believed for a while that covid was being used to control the population, that small business is intentionally being squashed, that our healthcare has become our new God, schools turned into what amounts to re-education camps, and our 2nd amendment rights will be removed, because that is usually the first step in authoritarian rule. Unsure whether communism or fascism is the right definition, but it amounts to the same for most of us.

Trump was most likely our last hope.
