Two foxes. Let me begin with a brief observation about Bill O’Reilly. Please watch the video first:

    http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/oreil...ves-and-cable-news-pundits/?playlist_id=86923

O’Reilly is not in the tank for a political party. He is in the tank for big government authority irrespective of his oft-stated objections to different aspects of the nanny state.

The second fox reminds me of Oscar Wilde’s great line about fox hunts:

Wilde could have been speaking about FOX liberals. Bob Beckel specifically.

I try not to mention Bob Beckel in my messages. It’s not that he used the F-word on Hannity’s show last night that prompts me to make an exception today. It is this:

Beckel does not objet to conservatives because they say it as he would have the audience believe. It is because they dare to say it that offends him so much.

Beckel is a liberal loudmouth who resents any talk that challenges the liberal worldview. Guys like him defined the word “smug” when the Left’s media monopoly was enforced. In those glory days liberals enjoyed the exclusive Right of speaking to millions under the protection of the Fairness Doctrine. It is conservative positions heard by millions on TV that really bothers them. Lacking the Fairness Doctrine, Beckel’s tries to shut up opponents by falsely accusing them of being loudmouths like him.

Let me point out that I never heard of Beckel until I saw him on Hannity’s show a few years ago. That was when my wife signed up for Cable TV. By the time I tuned into the show Hannity had dumped Colmes —— another one of the FOX liberals that sends me screaming for the remote control.

I watched Beckel a few times on Hannity’s panel segments. A few bites of his liberal know-it-all arrogance was all I could stomach. The minute Beckel appears on my TV nowadays, I am outta there. I found out about his F-word debating technique on the Drudge Report:

Democrat has F-bomb meltdown on Fox News
'You don't know what the f--- you're talking about!'

Democrat strategist Bob Beckel dropped the F-bomb live on the “Hannity” program on Fox News Monday night.

“You say that Head Start is a failure, you don’t know what the f— you’re talking about,” Beckel barked as the show returned from a commercial break.

Beckel had apparently been arguing off-air with guests including tea-party activist Jennifer Stefano of Americans for Prosperity and radio host Neal Boortz on the show’s Great American Panel segment when the program suddenly came back to catch the obscenity live on the air.

“Whoa! Bleep!” exclaimed Hannity when the F-word was launched. “What are you doing?”

    “Failure,” said Stefano.

“I just can’t stand right-wingers. They’ve just got their mouths running all the time,” Beckel explained.

When Hannity requested that Beckel apologize, Beckel responded, “I don’t apologize.”

“Yes you do. You just cursed on the air,” said Hannity.

“I’m not gonna apologize,” an adamant Beckel affirmed.

“All right, I apologize for you,” said Hannity, who finally was able to make Beckel understand the obscene comment had been broadcast live.

“I try to put signs up and help you,” Hannity told Beckel.

Beckel finally said, “I’m sorry about using that foul word, yes. But the intent about it is still there.”

“And you should run your show a little better,” he continued, “instead of having me get caught like that.”

“Now you’re blaming me for this,” said Hannity.

“Typical liberal,” added Stefano. “No personal responsibility.”

“You’re like Obama – you’re blaming me,” Hannity clowned.

Beckel has since apologized on Twitter, explaining, “I apologize to anyone who heard me on Hannity. I honestly thought we were off air. I just may not be cut out for the tv business. Peace.”

See the testy exchange below. WARNING: CLIP CONTAINS OBSCENE LANGUAGE.

Anyone on any side who resorts to name calling and swearing is just a poor debater

I watched a little of Hannity last night, but must've turned it off right before Beckel's meltdown. Darn, I always miss the good stuff.

To submarinepainter: Agreed. Worse still, liberals do it to intimidate. I should add that I would never initiate the use of foul language, but I would reply in kind.

Sad to say, it’s been my experience that message board censors often protect foul attacks initiated by liberals, while they usually delete a tit for tat.

Thx for the link... now I don't have to say I missed it! ;)

(If that had been Rush Limbaugh saying that TO A WOMAN... liberal heads would still be exploding!)
