    He did fight/kick them and resist arrest the whole time. You understand a lot of time passed before those 9 minutes started. Floyd made many bad decisions to get him to the point that he needed to be in a prone position in the first place. He screwed over the poor kid in the store. That’s why the cops showed up in the first place.

    All Floyd had to do was accept being arrested like a nice career criminal and no one would have been kneeling on him. The cops were called for the bill but once they got there Floyd stole the show by being a drugged up moron who wouldn’t accept being arrested.

    And by the way the Mom he was talking about was his drug dealing/using fiancé he labeled as Momma on his phone. And when he’s complaining about not being able to breath after lying multiple times to the cops, hard to take him serious. People being arrested lie all the time. Floyd is no different.

    Cops didn’t just show up, toss him on the ground and kneel on his neck. But you might think that if you just watch CNN or NBC or late night comedy talk shows. :)

    That's a partisan motivated opinion. Unfortunately for you, outside of trying to quantify prejudice in a way that doesn't come off as outright bigotry, there is no way to prove this. Unfortunately for Chauvin, his jury either refused to recognize that fact or was terrified by the mob. Either way justice was not served.

    Except the medical experts testified he didn't have enough of the metabolite for fentanyl in his blood to have been ODing yet. Going to happen later does not mean you can press him to death right now and call it square biz.

    They kneeled on him for about10 minutes. 2-3 in and he's certainly under control and not a threat, able to be shackled around the legs and rolled on his side as per dept training for people suspected to be on dope (which chauvin directly notes more than once on camera). About 5 in he's not struggling for certain. 6 and he starts an anoxic seizure and involuntary twitching. 7 in and Lane announces HE DOESN"T HAVE A PULSE. Chauvin hung out for almost 3 more minutes.
    Its minutes 6-10 that are the issue for Chauvin, not putting him on the ground at all. Leaving him there, and not checking his pulse after "HE DOESN"T HAVE A PULSE" is announced is what gives him culpability.

    I've been thinking about this a bit today. Is there really systemic racism in law enforcement or is there systemic stupidity within the black culture that makes people think that it's ok to have no respect for police? That lack of respect leads to a lot of unnecessary problems that, in turn, appear to be systemic racism. Would we have the same problems is all police were black?

    Which came first?

    Is it possible the lack of respect is caused by the systemic racism displayed against them?

    If one has never had to worry about being pulled over just because they were black in a nice car or a good neighborhood then it would be hard to understand how it feels

    OK. You are apparently not a liberal. But why support extra-judicial punishment for a man who was overcharged to begin with and then convicted via a rigged trial.

    2. Jurors all partially doxed.
    3. Potential Jury members declining to serve due to fear.
    4. People bussed in to riot.
    5. Overcharging.
    6. Terrorist threats from politicians.
    7. Jurors not sequestered.

    It was rigged.

    The video provided proves this statement is wrong. "He did fight/kick them and resist arrest the whole time." It's tough to resist when a person has no pulse. At one point one of the cops suggested they turn Floyd over but was over rules by Chauvin. But he wished he had listened to his fellow officer now.

    I doubt you will ever be convinced as your hyperpartisan blinders are on so tightly, I don't think you can see much at all.

    The entire world saw, very clearly, on video, over 9 minutes and 29 seconds, how a cop quite literally murdered another human being on an open, public street in broad daylight. His disregard for human life and his treachery to the badge he wore merits the death penalty.
