They even promoted MEGA MAGA over Republicans that voted for impeachment, causing those Republicans to lose their primaries to MEGA MAGA who are now poised to beat their Democrat opponent.

I'm not convinced astrological events have that sort of influence over our politics.

Its certainly worth considering (at least for those of us detestable conspiracy theorists who think it likely that shadowy groups of wealthy elites wield a controlling influence from behind the scene) that astrological events and patterns have a mystical, powerful meaning to certain esoteric organizations that might want to manipulate certain political events to 'fit' within an astrological timeline to give their program a greater meaning ...or something.

 

I think America has gone insane. When a person can say Satanic psychopaths are running the country and no one thinks its even odd.
When a man trying to kill Nancy Pelosi attacks her elderly husband with a hammer and Trump ( The would be leader of your entire country) claims he was a male prostitute and no one thinks that's odd.

Seems to me the nation lost its mind when BLM burned down billions in other peoples property, called for the murder of cops, and Dems supported them rabidly.

Or antifa rioting and attacking anyone with a slight disagreement and Dems compared them to American soldiers in ww2 lol.

Or when Dems pushed to defund the police.

Or the fact Dems have pushed to let men participate in womens sports under the insane idea men and women are the same.

However I don’t believe the degree to which people have lost their minds is equal. Much of the left chose hate over country. They irrationally hate Trump based on false claims, and well…the rest has been history since 2015, and it’s only gotten worse. Though the hatred of him only seemed to expedite a growing problem that’s existed on the left since at least 2012…a problem with the truth and a problem with the telling of that truth based on perceived motivations of those telling it.

 

Not sure what you are saying here, but it appears to be they lie and we tell the truth.
But very much of what Trump has said is on record so impossible to be a false claim. What I see as the madness is not who you believe but that lies can be told, proudly supported, found to be lies and dismissed in minutes or hours without comment or loss of faith.

While the internet and instant communications are a great boon to humanity, social media, as it has evolved, is a sewer where the most vile or idiotic claims are disseminated immediately and permanently to a global audience of impressionable minds. Before, you had to seek out such material and it was limited to a small segment of society.
The insanity you see in America today comes from the consequences of arguing with idiots who drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. Social media is driven by the lowest common denominator, and that is toxic when a segment of the population is poorly educated or young and impressionable.
Personally, I think that American democracy is in danger if the maga repubs get a leg up.

 

Uh no what we are seeing is the culmination of Dem policy over the last few years.

I disagree. I don't think half the US population are strangely more gullible than the other half.. That's why I think its a form of madness. That republican supporters were so disillusioned that they have set aside all semblance of rational thinking to try and break the endless dull circle of politics.

 

Its at least as good a theory for why our country keeps doing so much horrible crap as the more common theories, being 'its cuz the D's' or 'its cuz the R's' or especially 'its just coincidence.'

 

Has to be the first time I've seen both D's and R's agree on something for a long time. Next question, how do you both stop it!
