2020 was a watershed year for the United States: Totalitarianism in the name of public safety was enacted in which 20,000 governors and mayors could erase any human and civil rights merely by arbitrary, non-legislative edicts. The richest corporations and people on earth came to have total control and ownership of all American television outlets, all American newspapers and virtually all social media and internet outlets - also now levels of book burning censorship not seen in the USA for well over a century. The deliberate totalitarian ordered permanent destruction of the merchant middle class - which was the origins of and protectors of human, civil and individual rights of the ordinary person - with a corresponding rapid erasure of such rights in the USA. According to Harvard, the USA has among worst, most corrupt and insecure elections in the world - with no legal remedies whatsoever even possible. Voters are irrelevant. Who declares the election outcome is who matters. We have seen the right to bail, attorney-client privilege, and presumption of innocence eliminated, with defendants prohibited from attempting to prepare any defense and imprisonment before trial in torturous solitary confinement despite never having a criminal conviction, never attempted to flee, and not charged with any crime of violence with professing their innocence. It is standard practice for force people to plead guilty by making threats against their children and family members if not. - - - - - In my opinion, the USA is now a quasi police state totalitarian international corporate-fascist plutocracy in union with an entrenched permanent government kleptocracy. It this, elections are just a facade to hide reality that there is no real democracy - nor any possible means to have one with purely corporate-kleptocrat propaganda as people's only info sources. This means the plutocrats and kleptocrats will establish socialism for the lower and middle class - paid for by the middle class and debt financing with interest profits to the international super rich - while the plutocrats live under unrestrained tax free monopolistic predatory capitalism and the kelptocrats are exempt for all laws and having near absolute power. This is the immediate future. The rich use propaganda to turn the poor against the non-compliant middle class in socialistic and social engineering promises - while themselves exempt and with no restraints whatsoever. History tells us the result will be economic collapse and a societal dystopian police state society of feuds promoted by propaganda between the ignorant riff-raff as the plutocrats and kleptocrats see ordinary people. But the International super rich have no reason to care about the USA's future or ordinary Americans whatsoever. We the people are just different herds they must manage divided up by stereotypical demographic groups. The technique historically prevents or delays rebelling against the plutocrats and kelptocrats by the general public. Distract the peasants by having them fight each other. While it can be hard to believe Joe Biden on anything given all the opposite statements he's made, he definitely will keep his promise of delivering a dark future for Americans - but not for himself the plutocrats and kelptocrats who made him president.
