The New Speaker Will Separate Ukraine and Israel Funding



We need a fundamental change in The People's House if we are going to see a reduction in the flood of debt spending that is devaluing our dollars and leaving us steadily more impoverished. This log rolling of separate issues into "must pass bills" derives us of a recorded vote on specific concerns. Speaker Johnson will be watched closely to see if he is actual change or more of the same.

We need seperate votes on:

• Aid to Ukraine,
• Aid to Israel
• Aid to Gaza

The vote needs consider whether the aid to Ukraine will end up with weapons on the Black Market and whether the aid to Gaza will end up funding Hamas.

The appropriations need to be offset by spending cuts elsewhere. Spending to secure foreign borders needs to come after spending to secure our own border.

The Republicans have a recent history of supporting the Russians so this is no surprise.

 

Well, the two wars are separate issues.....but if he plans to reduce help to Ukraine under this move.....Putin should be pleased. He is probably delighted that the nw war has taken the focus off of HIS invasion and he ill just continue to destroy Ukraine , just to "win".

The question is : Will Johnson keep preaching his religious ideas or will he be objective and compassionate and help .?He is a smooth talker so one has to be attentive to what he is really saying.

 

“Aid to Gaza”—that’s clever, when all it really is is aid to Hamas with Palestinians getting just enough sloppy seconds to keep them begging for more.

 

If you are bigoted against Christians, that's not something I can help you with. Folks infected with bigotry tend to cling to it above all else.

The Speaker didn't say that he would prevent a vote on Ukraine funding, simply that it would be a stand alone vote. You favor the Ukraine $90B in spending, so, where are you willing to cut $90B in other federal spending to pay for it?

 

If one really wants to cut spending (and I question this is about spending at all) one should look at reducing military spending across the board: Ukraine, Israel, South Keora, Japan, Taiwan, and Saudi Arabia quickly come to mind. This seems like a more efficient way to do it.

 

Are you answering the question of "if you want $90B more in Ukraine War spending, where do you want to cut $90B elsewhere in the budget?"

Because you included cutting spending to Ukraine.

Which works out to: "Cut spending on Ukraine to offset spending additional on Ukraine."

Which doesn't make a lot of sense.

 

I don't see Republicans rioting in the street to support Russia like Leftists are in support of Hamas.

 

The radical left Democrats are like a broken record. It's always Russia, Russia Russia! and it's ridiculous. It's the usual crap that you get from the Communist and Nazi extremists. They latch on to THE BIG LIE and keep pushing it. All of this BS started with the Russia hoax and the far left keeps pushing it. For all his faults, Trump was not an ally of Russia. It's been proven, but the far left keeps pushing the THE BIG LIE.

The Republican party is not aligned with the Russians and the old KBG agent, Vladimir Putin. The history of the party has been vehemently anti-communist at since the Second World War, sometimes to the point of the party's detriment when guys like Joe McCarthy had their version of THE BIG LIE. There is no evidence to show that has changed.

The question is how long can we keep building up the national debt before it destroys the monetary system and the economy? That is a very real issue. Perhaps the far left wants to destroy the economy so that they can rebuild it the way they want it. God help us if they do.

I understood that over 50 were arrested in one demonstration in the New York City area. Some of them were throwing firecrackers at the police, but I suppose that qualifies as "peaceful" to a far left anti-Semite. Perhaps if they were throwing grenades, that would be called "violent."

Aren't you sick and tired of having Congress pass bills that cover everything, even if some members don't want parts of the bill? It's one more way to waste money on projects that are not needed.
