The right wingnut media has sold to their public the idea that Biden is senile.

I've seen several threads in this forum about a possible debate between Biden and Trump. It would appear like they actually believe that Biden is too senile. How the hell did they get this idea? I'm not sure, but it has all the potential to come back and bite Trump in the arse.

Reality is that Biden is old. Physically it shows. And he speaks a bit slower to control his stuttering problem. But mentally, he's just the same blundering gaffe machine he was in his junior Senator days.

I have seen nothing that tells me that Biden's mind is not operating at full capacity. And I'm pretty sure it will show in a debate.

Being old means he gets physically tired quicker. But Trump has made this campaign much easier for him. He doesn't have to be in public as much, because Trump is in the courtroom all day long anyway.

As for a debate. Debates will be about ONE topic: Trump! What else could they be about? Trump is lost if they debate the issues. He'll certainly memorize a few numbers about border crossings... but that point will be easily obliterated by the fact that REPUBLICANS (under Trump's orders) killed the immigration bill. Inflation is offset by the fact that Biden has been one of the most successful job creators, and Trump one of the worst (even before the pandemic). Trump wouldn't dare attack him on the ONE weak issue for Biden: Gaza. But if he does, that's where Biden can shine. Because he will SHOW protesters that he's the better alternative to Trump.

Consider past debates. What do people remember? Reagan's "...my opponent's youth and inexperience" line. Biden's own "A noun, a verb, and 9/11" line (which inspired one of the most famous episodes on "The Simpsons"). Or Trump calling for his "Proud Boys" thugs to "stand by". That's the kind of things that people remember. For these elections, Biden has all the creative minds of SNL, Colbert, The Daily Show, ... at his disposal. He will have A LOT to choose from. NO such creative mind is on the Trump side. And Trump is incapable of delivering a funny line anyway, as his pathetic attempt to host SNL demonstrated.

 

Cripes, one does not need the media to know JB is senile. Anybody with good vision can see the man walking is senile. Body language shows he's senile. Idiotic and irrational behavior while giving speeches shows his mind is as decrepit as his body.

 

Because he is senile. He makes up stories that never happened. These stories have been debunked, yet he continues to repeat them. Like his uncle being eaten by cannibals, or him being a truck driver, among many, many others.

 

Trump is rapidly deteriorating both physically snd mentally. He is making less and less sense and considering I am talking about a man famous for suggesting we can research bleach injections…. There is the recent reporting of his smell and incontinence which may well be constipation with overflow and him admitting breathlessness, feeling cold. To me that is adding up to heart failure which he has every indication he is heading for

 

Unlike his opponent? Trump has invented some beauties in his time.

 

Biden is a shell of the man he was. Anybody old enough to remember him as a senator can see that. And if you review clips of interviews, debates from 2018/2019---its obvious his dementia is progressing at a fast rate.

If you're talking about his body... sure. Not his mind though. As I said, he has ALWAYS been prone to gaffes. But I've actually found him making relatively less than he used to as a Senator.

 

Exactly my point! The wingnut media takes off-the-cuff remarks (a gaffe, given that Papua was not happy) to convince MAGAs that he's senile. Those are just the kind of gaffes he has ALWAYS made. And if they think that means he's senile and won't perform in a debate, that's going to come back and bite them in the arse.

Apparently, the Trumpy media has aided and abetted the proposition that the President is senile and that the superannuated sexual abuser running against him is not, a meme they mindlessly embrace.

What is amusing is their conflicting propaganda that portrays the intellectually-impaired POTUS leading a coalition of advanced democracies opposing tyranny as a criminal mastermind, coordinating a global family racket so deftly that goobers Comer, Jordan, et al have been thoroughly outwitted in their fanatical attempt to expose it.

 

Not sure what you're trying to say. You're saying he didn't commit gaffes in 2018/2019? I can show you gaffes from waaaay before that. And much MUCH worse than claiming his uncle could just as well have been eaten by cannibals.

Point is that if MAGAs think he's not going to perform in debates.... against Trump!.... they're in for a huge surprise.

 

And that is real. THAT is who Biden would debate, though I suspect that he will come up with some excuse not to.

Biden's deterioration is physical. But not mental.

Why won’t Biden give interviews or hold press conferences? Biden hardly speaks to the media, and when he does he screws up. Keep in mind that Biden won’t have note cards at a debate.

Why is Biden refusing to take a cognitive test? I think we all know why.

 

A common check to determine whether an American is cognizant of reality is to ask him who is the bona fide President of the United Stares.

At least they've given up on the foolish claim that Joe Biden's obvious senility is just "a stutter". That was a hilarious charade.

I have nothing but pity for Joe Biden, because he's nothing but a victim of elder abuse at this point. He's just a senile old meat puppet that's being danced around like a marionette by seriously evil people.

His own wife being one of the worst of those evil people. Her selfish need to be a first lady has driven her to use(and abuse)her poor, demented husband to get her into the spotlight and feed her own bloated ego.

Of course the Trump haters who claim that Trump is senile will have zero sympathy for Trump's condition, because they know their claims are just nonsensical whataboutism distractions, and they know Trump is still Trump, and still cognizant, and that's why they hate him more than ever.

Joe Biden, on the other hand, is no longer Joe Biden, and he hasn't been Joe Biden in a very long time.

Joe Biden is a senile husk who deserves nothing but pity, and the 25th Amendment needs to be invoked as a mercy.

Reality doesn't matter to MAGA, once they have made up their mind, nothing can change their perception. They claimed for months that Biden would fall asleep, shake hand with air, stumble at the SOTU, and when he came out energetic, they rationalized it with being "amped up". They claim that Biden won't debate. Yet, they claimed the same thing in 2020, and then Biden showed up and debated, and did well. They still peddle the old, tired meme of Biden not coming out of his basement, ignoring that Biden is in public pretty much every day. Why is this? Because RW media they watch 24/7 trains them to live in an alternate reality.

 

Why won’t Biden do sit down interviews and hold press conferences? We all know why.

 

I could say the same thing about people who think Biden isn't senile even though he can never get off stage without someone steering him in the correct direction.

 

Both of those old bastards are senile. I think to become President you should either be under the age of 60, or be able to pass a difficult cognitive test of some sort with the results 100% accessible to all Americans.
