I have seen more and more young of varying economic and social left/right propogate toward white nationalism. Many are abandoning civic nationalist attitudes that accept all Americans of varying ethnicities as being American and having a right to this country for a new attitude that this country belongs to people of Europe heritage. Now I know people will just argue that it is Trump but that isn't as deep as I want to go in understanding this phenomenon. I want to know what mental and emotional thoughts and and feelings and the connected experiences are driving these young people toward adopting this new identity and entitlement. I want to understand their psychology.
Think about what America will look like when these kids are elderly, when their children are adults? This is something boomers don't understand. I don't support white Nationalism, but I totally understand why so many people are turning to it. If Los Angeles is the end result of multiculturalism then people will have a hard time defending it.
The percentage of people that actually espouse those ideas is so minuscule as to be laughable. But the main motivators are the usual motivations disenfranchisement, ignorance, poverty, and poor education. These things apply to whites just as much as to blacks but poor whites are not seen as a class of people worth extra protections.
