    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!

Then according to YOU our nation is a city state since we have TWICE the population living in urban areas than Denmark has!

    https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2015/cb15-33.html

Only 35% of Danes live in the Copenhagen metro area.

Obviously reading for understanding is not a habit of yours.

Our population doesn't live in just one urban area primarily.

Any country that has more than 20% of its population concentrated in a single urban center is not a "nation" but a "city state". Because the main city is absolutely essential to the survival of the nation. Not true for the United States. We could lose our 10 largest cities and life wouldn't change that much for the rest of the country.

That's an odd thing to say, since it actually did happen that way. And it happened four years ago, and probably happens with regularity. If you bothered to read the article and learn something (as I did), you'd have learned the Danish windmills supplied surplus power to Sweden, Norway and Germany too. And that the first two used it to pump water up into peak power reservoirs for use during peak power periods, entirely independent of when the wind blew.

And, of course we can do it here. If we had any brains, we'd be at the head of the parade.

Given the petrodollar coupled with a military industrial complex, definitely.

Hydro pumped power storage is what nuclear plants here in the states use already in order to manage peak load demands. It has been in place even before the start of the construction of nuclear plants and can be used just as easily with solar and wind power.

Hilarious comment, and great analysis. It isn't your blood, but other people blood and you are sucking it from them.

No I don't think it's about oil. Because it's cheaper to buy it then it is to fight a war. I think it dates back mostly to the Cold War. Russia became involved with the middle East to try and create an alliance.

Venezuela sold their oil companies. We've never been at war with Venezuela, we shouldn't go to war with Venezuela. If we do anything it should be airlifting food into Venezuela and that is it.

I do believe current interactions with North Korea have a lot to do with their rare Earth minerals that we have a voracious appetite for.

You are right when you wrote that buying Oil is cheaper than going to war for it. However, the military-industrial complex and Oil companies don't agree with you. War is necessary to sell weapons and to increase the price of Oil.

Well if selling weapons was the idea we would inspire other countries to go to war selling weapons to ourselves costs us.

I still don't believe it's about a oil this is ruminants of the Cold War. Russia might have wanted to scare them as allies because of their oil deposit, but it also could have been uranium or other rarest materials.

Our involvement has to do with us being too involved and protection of the world. We don't benefit from our alliance is only our allies do.

I remember hearing something about Iran and Iraq considering exchanging oil for gold instead of the US dollar but it sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.

I will disagree with you that America doesn't benefit from their alliance. In the world of politics, nothing for free.
