and 2) Most of the deaths since December are not from Omicron .. even if we did use US numbers.

3) Average Flue Season is more like 60,000 .. 5-20% infected with flue is the average.. we will use 20% (really nasty flue season) to help your numbers .. as your going to need it.

Now tell me what % folks Omicron has infected this year .. and 2) how many have died from Omicron.

 

Masks don’t protect yourself from your germs. They protect other people. If other people stop wearing masks, then I lose out on their protection. And for the record? I am against revoking the mask mandates.

 

You doubt the official government report but want the government report for flu deaths… what we do know is the number of people dead from COVID is underreported. Because people might die from COVID related deaths, not just the immediate disease itself.

 

What official Gov't Report .. and your claim that the dead from Covid is underreported is false .. and the reverse is true.

Regardless .. where is this official Gov't report with the number of deaths from Omicron .. and percent of people infected with Omicron.

 

You can pretty easily google COVID deaths. Those deaths are computed from data for the CDC, at least for the US. But what I’m focusing on is your idea from the flu. Why are you trusting the official government report for flu deaths? If the government can’t be trust for Covid deaths, why should the government be trusted for flu deaths? Why stop there? Why not cancer or smoking deaths, suicides etc? The fact is, the government has no incentive to lie. It’s a National embarrassment to have so many people die from COVID. If the government was going to lie, wouldn’t they want a much lower death rate than say China?

1. If the government is lying about COVID deaths, wouldn’t it make sense the government would lie about other diseases as well? And if you think the flu kills a certain number of people in a given season, as your post indicates… then how can you trust the government in one regard but not another? The government spends millions of dollars on healthcare related costs. Those flu vaccines? Im taking a good guess here but somewhere along the line? Government funding. Suicide research? Government funding. Heart disease, cancer, deaths by despair? Government funding. So if they have government funding… and COVID has government funding, how can you trust any of them? This mask was designed for people with immune deficiencies to protect the individual from virus and bacteria which could be fatal if exposed. You the individual could wear this mask in a room full of people infected with covid and you would be safe.



You won't wear this because of risk/reward. The same reason why people refuse to get vaccinated.

They risk getting a severe reaction from covid for the reward of not injecting themselves with something they do not trust.

You won't wear this mask for the risk of a higher chance of catching and spreading covid for the reward of not looking ridiculous.

If you are not pushing this mask...or think an N95 is as good as this mask...I dare you to debate that with logic or reasoning. So if you are truly concerned about catching or spreading covid, you'd be wearing this ridiculous thing. But you are not. So I reject your fake concerns.

If you are worried about catching or spreading covid, this mask keeps the individual safe. It puts the responsibility all on the individual. You need not worry about your neighbor. You are making the perfect the enemy of the good. If masks reduce transmission by a percentage, then that is a percentage less chance of having to deal with long term
repercussions of catching covid.

You haven’t established anything. You claim that you have established why some random mask is just as good as a N95 mask without any sources. And even then, That’s not what I claimed in the first place. What I said is the mask mandates should go on. The N95 masks have been shown to be effective in controlling the spread of COVID. So where are you going off saying we need a better mask? When the CDC is saying the N95 is good enough, more isn’t needed.
