    Yes. Its very whiny.

I don't know when it changed but I dont recall Americans being so whiny, but these days they are practically searching for reason to whine, especially the populist pseudo-con Republicans.

Sorry, I thought it was obvious I was talking about work trips, since I specifically said so.

I'm afraid there is. You have managed to misunderstand every post so far. See above for example.

Everyone, except you, knew what I meant when I said you dont need to wear a mask in planes anymore. And its not just that you didn't get it, you are still arguing about it.

Yes, really. Here we go again. No one has offered by statistics, and yet you think you think you have seen it.

    Comprehension........Its absent.

Well, you seem to be incapable of debating FACTS and continue to whine about them. You claimed airline travel was not down because you saw full flights. I linked to actual statistics from the TSA showing boardings down about 200,000 per day from pre pandemic levels. So YES, I offered statistics and you offered unsubstantiated opinions (as usual).

Also I presented FACTS about what the economic “growth” was you referred to. It’s artificial and resulted in inflation that outpaces that artificial growth. Again, not my opinion, research by nonpartisan economic research entity of government data. Again, it conflicts with your unsubstantiated OPINIONS.

So stop whining about being shown your errors and accept the FACTS you have been presented. Or keep whining about your OPINIONS being in conflict with facts. But stop projecting. It’s unseemly.

Demand has declined a little but is still strong. The reason is that people spent less money during the "lockdowns" have available money to spend. The supply is a disaster and every bit of it was caused by government policy. Yes it is supply and demand that affects prices. But the problem is on the supply side, not the demand side. If supply were up to demand, the economy would be happy, healthy and growing even despite the devaluation of the currency by government inflation of the money supply.

I've explained many times that government policy can hurt an economy but can't fix one that is troubled. The economy will fix itself but we will have to wait until we get through the current retraction and producers can produce more.

You have to know that what economists say is opinion. Economics is not like science. Also you need to be a lefty to believe government statistics. ;) Sorry, I couldn't resist.

The US is 'out of the pandemic phase,' Fauci says

And he retracted it the next day. Fauci says whatever the political winds recommend. The virus is definitely settling into the endemic phase. The virus is more contagious and much less dangerous as one would expect from the evolution of the various strains. Covid is now just a regular flu much like all the others. We will see it return every season most likely with a new strain and we will continue vaccinating for it with obsolete vaccines like we do with flu. This was predictable and predicted from day one. Government decided to ramp up hysteria so it got out of hand but, in the end, we just have another typical flu.

When has a coronavirus killed 100 million? The Spanish Flu killed about 50 million in a couple years. Covid has killed less than 7 million in a couple years. Spanish flu is still killing people today and will in the foreseeable future just like Covid will. When is the last time someone complained about current deaths from Spanish Flu? :)

You got it partly right, which is kinda amazing. A century ago, the first flu had a massive death toll, like Covid. My grandfather caught it. There was a sort of home remedy back then, get blind drunk. Which he did, he woke up about a week later in a morgue. If they hadn't had a backlog of people to bury, I wouldn't be here.

Anyway, craziness aside, Covid showed us what we need to do.

No everything I posted is factual. The death toll from Covid is under 7 million while Spanish flu killed 50 million in the same approximate time period.

Yes, Covid showed us it’s time for Americans to change their diet and start exercising. It also showed us how dishonest public health entities are. And it showed us you will swallow disinformation like the 100 million figure without question because you care nothing for facts.

Some of the stores here are removing the 6ft markers in their aisles so it looks like we have decided the threat has passed.

There is a definite feeling of people wanting to put Coronavirus behind them. And there are those who don’t want to let go.
Possibly, people who have a cold will wear a mask if they must go out, and people with the flu will stay home, and store clerks will wipe down the counters now and then**.
I predict we will have mild to moderate iterations of Covid “x” for a couple of years or so until it burns out.

**The “new” level of cleanliness may also degrade our immune system. LOL, you just can’t win!

Yes, your posts are often good for a snicker. Especially when you use numbers like 100 million in reference to Covid deaths.

I routinely invite those who disagree with my posts on matters of science to present evidence I’m incorrect. Of course what I always get is appeal to stone fallacy or ad hominem fallacy instead of evidence or intellectual engagement. You are no exception. Thanks for being consistent in regards to your lack of evidence I’m incorrect.

Why would I waste my time like that? I've seen that BS too many times.

The number guys are doing a deep dive on this, as we speak. They will get my attention.

What BS? You can’t even point to what part of my post you believe is incorrect? Your posts are clearly incorrect by a factor of over 10 when you claim 100 million Covid deaths while the “numbers” guys conclude it’s a bit over 6,000,000.

See, your unfounded accusations of “BS” are appeal to stone fallacy! Again, at least you are consistent!

The Branch Covidians care nothing for facts. It's now a matter of religious belief. The numbers MUST BE correct, because anything else is HERESY!

I live in a highly liberal state and for us it is long over. I don't know what you people are still talking about.
