"The Walking Dead" - Does anybody else watch it?

No one's mentioned the Walking Dead's newest power couple, Richonne.

 

Whats to mention. People will still screw after the apocalypse.

 

They seem to be concentrating a lot on love affairs the last two weeks?

 

Because the situation will not change for them overnight. Life, as it is, will go on and people will start falling in love.

 

I think Ive finally lost interest in TWD. Now the crew is in a relatively safe place...relationships are bound to happen. Pretty soon little richones will be born. lol

I miss the first few seasons.. walkers were around every corner, barns were burned and Carol wasn't baking so much.
Killing a walker to them has become as mundane as starting your car before work.

I think the series might end soon.

 

This is just the calm before the storm. Negan is coming.

I watched the episode and shook my head at every time the signs screamed "fall into trap here!" At the end, a smug smiling SOB made me LOL with his supposed to be ominous monologue .

While I was laughing out loud, the serious side of myself kept saying 'the wrong person better not die (Rick, Michone, Maggie, Carl, Glen).' Thoughts?

 

I was irritated by the ending. Killing a main character, but then pulling a stunt that you don't find out until next season is cheap. This is as crappy as the Glenn "death" from the first part of the season. Very contrived. I'm sorry that Walking Dead, after several great seasons, is resorting to cheap tricks.

 

Alexandria guy, Sasha or Eugene. What isn't logical to me why Negan didn't kill them all. At this stage you would think that anyone you'll meet is a hardcore survivor and that makes them dangerous.

 

Sorry, but the only zombie show I watch now is "iZombie"....Rose McIver is sexy...

and TWD lost that when they killed off "Lori"

That's what made me think he could kill Rick (1st). Rick is thee most dangerous guy of that group. Doing that though will inspire the rest of Rick's clan to plot against him.

But then again, Negan's group is full of battle-hardened guys. He could just break Rick's group and absorb them into his.

Let me say, it will be extremely difficult for me to watch the rest of the series if they decide to *shock* me with a Rick, Darryl, Michonne or Glen death.

 

Even on pop culture you're irritating....

Killing off Lori was a good move as far as I'm concerned. She wasn't that great of a mom and she's actually a more interesting character on "Colony."

However I do agree about Rose McIver. Not only is she sexy, as a Kiwi she does a great American accent.

 

My money is on Glenn getting it.

 

I didn't like the way WALKING DEAD used David Bowies classic song 'FIVE YEARS' as a soundtrack to a zombie montage. Esp.in light of Davids recent death. 'FIVE YEARS' is one of Bowies most heartfelt and is above and beyond WALKING DEAD'S hack and slash sub-par trash not worhy of accolades, nor a form of art on the level of Dario Argento, Carpenter, or even Fulci's 'HOUSE BY THE CEMETARY'. That Romero inspired this trash tv w/ his original trilogy, I think is an establishment government controlled CIA plot to further desensitize Americans to brutality as a acceptable societal norm, esp. in light of increased police criminal killings - the CIA MOCKINGBIRD MEDIA, even as phony liberals like MICHAEL MOORE defend CIA PROAGANDA 'ZERO DARK THIRTY', and MOORE defended BILL MAHERS anti Muslim bigotry during a FIVE YEAR Democrat slaughter of Obamas war on Syria - show us that all broadcast news, Hollywood, radio-tv are appendages of the Federal Government - there is no more free speech in Amerca unless its miltary propaganda - (as thinly veiled as it all is) - even the last Batman starrng Bale was obvious support for the war on terror, the ultra rich celebs are nothing more than PENTAGON PROSTITUTES who exist to enlist cannon fodder and oppress the masses to accept CIA DEATH on innocent Arabs, and so the Democrats wars can rob Persians of their wealth and oil to perpetuate the vampiric US MILITARY, WHO PLANNED AND EXECUTED 9/11.

 

Either that, or the government actually follows the First Amendment and networks shovel out what the public wants..

 

The really sick part in it is - that Americans think that this level of graphic violence on TV is somehow normal or acceptable on a weekly basis. Like a myriad of shows (e.g.) 'Homeland Security' on NBC, it is most certainly a PSY-OPERATION, put together by the military.


Ever notice that a good many of the zombies being blown away by shotguns are hispanic or black? The numbers of exploding guts zombies being black or latino is disproportionate, I think.

It is a Psychological Operation to condition Americans to become used to, and accept the high level of police brutality occuring in America today, the police state, and the increasingly bloody wars and bombings done by US military or mercenary proxy soldiers abroad in places like Syria or Iraq. What about the current drug war in Mexico at least partially waged by the US GOVMNTS 'gunwalker scandal, w/ 50,000 to 80,000 dead from recent reports?


And Peter Griffin of Family Guy in one episode (actor Seth McArseface) said "when you join the U.S. military,(referring to Iraq obviously), you can have all the brown people you can rape."

There is no excuse or purpose for that type of broadcasting - whether its "gooks" during Vietnam, or "raping brown people" during Iraq is deliberately put into the telescreen for one purpose, and one reason only -like WALKING DEAD blowing blacks and latinos away - because it DEHUMANIZES THE TARGET - therby making the races "unpersons" (i.e.) subhuman.

Its govmnt propaganda inserted into pop culture.

I don't really care, but why does it seem almost every actor they hire, to play Americans on "TWD" is usually from England, Australia, NZ or some other English speaking country other than USA? You never know it, until they have them as guests on "Talking Dead".

 

Doing the jobs Americans won't do...

 

We know product placement exists - so many shows are in fact written by advertisers.

Maybe WALKING DEAD is written by the gun manufacturing industry ... not a far fetched idea considering:

On THE WALKING DEAD, the show is reinforcing its okay for America, which is now referred to as a Police State, so thoroughly controlled by a media monopoly, which is in bed with U.S. Government policy, and is in fact controlled by the National Security State, wants to condone this 'new normal' that its okay for the pigs to shoot White, African and Latin Americans whenever they want, because they're dressed up like Zombies, of course!


So - the Police State system shows this level of brutality to you on a weekly basis, in order to condition you to accept it. They did the same thing with a show called "Cops" on Fox before Bart Simpson. The "Cops" (thugs really) used excessive force on a weekly basis mainly on African and Latin Americans, broadcast it on TV for 20 years, and now the American people accept it as normal.

Now Seth McFarlane makes jokes about it, with a character named "Joe" on Family Guy and everyone think its funny. And then Family Guy regularly makes fun of the crippled, and old people, and the mentally handicapped, and so you see Seth McFarlane is a Nazi pig, disguised as some cartoon genius or the beloved host of Comedy Central roasts, and he is a toasted member of the Hollywood Elite with a new million dollar office in Burbank.

So - the moral of the story is ... whitey sucks it.

Well, TWD has disappointed before with big cliff hangers, so I don't know what will happen here.

I personally think it will be either Glenn or Daryl. Daryl isn't a component of the comic books, and Glenn -- well, I haven't read the entire thread, so I am not going to say anymore.
