A primary part of physical health is diet, another is noticing if something is wrong, underlying both is mental health and attitude, and if you aren't happy nothing else is may seem important and you won't look after yourself well, and deaths of despair are rising rapidly: alcoholism, drugs, suicide, though more people do have a positive attitude. A part of all that is the example the nation gives, it's mood, unity, optimism, direction and motivation and positive interactions.
What is missing from the list? Attacking other countries, the one thing Joe is so keen on: "We're the United States for G* sakes, the most powerful nation in the history of the world (repeated) ... we can take care of both of these (Ukraine and Israel) and still maintain our overall international defense" We can't do any of the things I put on the list if we are involved in 3 big wars. Ukraine should be about at an end now, China I hope we never start, but with us sending bombs and ammo to Israel, that puts us in conflict with a number of countries in Western Asia/ Middle East. Surprisingly powerful countries we can't beat. But Joe will try.
Those aren't wars we started or are even waging. It's just foreign aid to countries at war. Ukraine deserves the aid. Israel does not.
It's possible the term 'aid' is deliberately vague, so if whoever we supply it to drops out of favor we haven't actually said we sent weapons to them.
The nation needs to be more concerned with delivering quality services than spending more money. My first choice on the list was "education," but then I thought about what we were spending and how the teachers' unions screw many things up. That led me to post the "Other Suggestion."
Yes, not just teachers' unions but sundry committees which exist to waste time and meet to enjoy a conference in the summer somewhere for a few days to achieve nothing worthwhile for anyone other than themselves.
I think you re phrase 'What do you want Trump to do..." Thump is not there to build a library, or get a bridge named after him, he is there to try to fix the accumulated flaws that are threatening the future of everyone but the rich.
None of the above. We need less government and less spending. Government took over health care and now we are spending at record levels while Americans are sicker than ever.
Personally... I believe that the Canadian and USA governments should make use of the excellent central banking policies that we used on several occasions and we should set in motion an Unconditional but Taxable Basic Minimum Income of $777 per month from cradle to grave here in Canada for all citizens and legal residents. Once Canadians and Americans have a higher household income then they will be free to purchase better health insurance..... I believe that the government screws up essentially everything that they try to do....... but freedom of choice for all of us would allow competition to weed out the most incompetently ran Health Insurance Companies. I voted for only a few of the choices, because there were only a few that were real national issues or opportunities. Government at the federal level should restrain itself to observe the limitations stipulated in THE CONSTITUTION, and damned little else.... We need to stop being "policeman of the world", and we need to do what is in the best interests of OUR OWN COUNTRY!
Biden's objective is to keep the weapons makers supplied with revenue. The chance for a war with China isn't getting any closer, so why not try Iran instead? We went to war against Russia in Ukraine because it was bigger than Iran and we were hoping for a bigger war and more money, but people are bored with that war now so we should pick someone we can win against... maybe.
I agree, Biden is an out of control warmonger. I doubt very much we would win a war against Iran. It would end up the same as Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. We would invade, end up in a no-win insurgency, thousands of US soldiers would be dead, and we would withdraw in disgrace twenty years later, realizing that once again we made an epic and costly mistake.
I'll bet we would lose against Iran within 6 months. But first we have to put together a story about how they attacked us first so we didn't start the war, they did.

With Biden, he's got to start a first war before he can start "another" war. The same could have been said about Trump during his 1st term. Neither have started a war. I mean, I get what you're implying, it's just dumb and wrong.
