The Jury { 5 women and 7 men } where 2 members are black and 10 white has been sequestered 300 miles away from most of their homes in Allegheny County.Names withheld and selected at hearings far from the site of the Trial { Courthouse }. The judge giving instructions they cannot even discuss the case with Family members.The Trial started last Monday.That means a full week.Unlike the OJ Trial { Trial of the Century } where the longest sequestration of jurors in American History took place.Over 9 months. Yet,due to a snitch in the Hotel where they were staying { an entire floor of the HotelInterContinental in Los Angeles } it took a mere 4 hours of deliberations to reach a verdict.It was accurately rumored that a person in charge of monitoring the OJ Jurors had heard and was familiar with the sentiments of those jurors the weekend they were awaiting the start of the Monday verdict.This insider snitch managed to leak to OJ's team those sentiments.That the Jury was near unanimous for a not guilty verdict.That is why OJ appeared kind of smiley facesd the morning of his verdict.he had a rough idea as to how the verdict would be read. The Jury also pulled a fast one on Monday.Saying they needed to view { go over } a key piece of evidence before they gave their verdict. Could Bill Cosby be as lucky.? It's anyones guess.It just takes one juror to have a hung jury. We have in this Country a flawed system.Jury verdicts MUST be Unanimous. That is why we need a system of Professional Jurors. There should be no statute of limitations when it comes to rape or any other serious/violent crime. It sometimes takes a long time for a person to remember a traumatic event, and sometimes they are frightened or hesitant to come forward for whatever reasons.

I need to make a correction.The Jury is DEADLOCKED on all three counts.They could come back on ONE or All Three counts. Each count is up to 10 years.Cosby is 79. 44 hrs. and counting.I think it's a record for that County as far as reaching a verdict.Gloria Allred is insisting that it's not over because the jury is actively deliberating.If they don't reach a verdict on one of all 3 counts Today,then they will resume tomorrow. The interesting fact is that the Jury comes back and asks for particular evidence which means they aren't actually deadlocked. I think this means that one or a couple jurors are acting belligerent. That they have their mind made up he's Not guilty.Unless all think he's innocent and just one or a couple think he's guilty. Their names are being withheld as they are not from the county in which the crime { rape/secual assault occurred } took place. I think some or all are from the Pittsburg area { 300 miles away }.
Well after about an hour { 50 + hrs. } the Judge decided that enough was enough.Enough deliberations already and declared a " Mistrial " based on a deadlocked jury. The Judge calling it a " probably one of the most courageous acts I've ever seen,and felt compelled to grant a mistrial." He was referring to the length of the record { for that county } setting beliberation. I think the record as something like 14 hrs.Which would be 2 full days worth.These Jurors spent 12 hrs. some days this week in order to reach unanimity of view on the charges. I think this was not a case of unanimity of view but rather maybe one or 2 jurors,being belligerent and refusing to actually deliberate. Where jury instructions consist of careful consideration of evidence and not making rash judgements.Like in the Movie - 12 Angry Men -. I trhink there may have been a mole on that Jury. Or someone who felt they could make history by being the one gumming up the works.Which is why we need Professional Juries.
