It's already starting folks. They rigged the system, they got caught.

Now it's time for the consequences.

We all know that Crooked Hillary is a flawed candidate, a greedy criminal out for herself, only interested in the money. We all know what public crimes that she has committed. We all know that she and the DNC and the media colluded to make her the nominee because of the #DNCleaks scandal.

Now DWS (Debbie Wasserman-Shultz) has resigned as the chair of the DNC, and JOINED CROOKED HILLARY'S campaign!!!

    The backlash has already started.

The RNC convention was a total success. The DNC is already looking like a disaster. I predict fighting, protests, walk-outs, demonstrations and violence. It's gonna get ugly.

    Which is worse:

    1) A rigged system that just goes through the motions to nominate a pre-selected candidate, where The People have really no meaningful input, or
    2) a system where any yahoo can use his TV popularity to defy entrenched establishment opposition and take the nomination from them, regardless of his qualifications.

If this is to be government "Of The People, by The People and for The People", then there is only one choice. The democrat party voters, while asked to participate in the process, never had any real effect on who was selected. HRC was selected far in advance by government establishment elites to be the next president. No opposition democrat candidate ever had any chance, from day one. It was all for show.

The overriding takeaway for me is this: The republican system gave the party establishment absolutely no control over the will of The People. The democrat system gave The People absolutely no control over the pre-determined will of the party establishment.

Gibberish, the election was run by known rules, it was done fairly and there was no fraud involved at all. Did Clinton have the edge? Duh. I know you want our convention to be as horrible as the hatefest we just witnessed in Cleveland but it ain't gonna happen.

Busted! Hillary needs to withdraw and BERNIE needs to be given the opportunity they cheated him out of!

“The scary things, the horrific things that Donald Trump says, Hillary Clinton has already done. Whether it’s massively deporting immigrants, whether it’s threatening nuclear warfare. …”

At the RNC convention, the reporters covering protesters outnumbered the protesters 2 to 1.

At the DNC convention, the protesters have already shown up by the thousands but the reporters have yet to show up to report about them. This you won't see on ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN or any of the other in the tank for Crooked Hillary Clinton faux news media. The system is rigged people, the establishment has their candidate. Crooked Hillary is bought and paid for by big business, big banks, Wall Street, the huge corporate media, the Russians, the Chinese and the Saudis and the other Arab Islamic fascist states of the Middle East.

Remember when 2016 started? We didn't have high hopes for the list of candidates, but somehow the results STILL managed to depress us. Sad times the US is living in. Hopefully by 2020, we can have a real process. Hopefully Americans are done being dumb as bricks about politics and actually studies the concept of politics.

    Isn't this just exquisitely hilarious?

It hasn't even started and it's already a disaster.

As many including myself predicted months ago, it's the Democratic party, not the GOP, that is heading into its convention in total disarray.

And the Bernabteilung haven't even gotten started. Let the riots begin!

Your convention hasn't even started and it's already a national joke.

Which is entirely fitting in light of who it is going to nominate for president... :)

One thing is for sure. The Trump effect on the republican party while painful now, is a net-positive, and its associated message will hopefully persist, regardless of the outcome of the election.

And yet the Tone Deaf Democratic Party still plans on having her open gavel and close gavel the Convention? This and the thousands of protesters and Bernie defectors are going to have a major impact on the election. This is what will help hand the election to Trump. The fact that the system is rigged, was rigged and continues to be rigged. Sanders delegates got no concessions out of the DNC rules committee, NONE! Now many in the party that refuse to vote for Crooked Hillary because of the crooked Democratic Party and their fake election primaries are going to vote for Donald J. Trump or that Green Party lady Stein or whatever her name is.

One person claims that they are going to have their own #Brexit out of the Democratic Party. The hashtag #Demexit is now becoming a major trending hashtag on Twitter.

The Democratic Convention hasn't even been held yet, and and you're calling it a disaster. I am disappointed in you. In the past, you've shown some adherence to the facts, and as far as the Democratic Convention is concerned, so far there are no facts. If you want to say that the Wasserman-Schulz affair took place during the convention, I think you should reconsider. It did not. It did occur embarrassingly close to the beginning of the convention, I grant.

The Democratic Convention may turn out to be a success or a disaster. Thoughtful people will suspend judgement until the convention takes place and the facts are in. Your predictions are meaningless.

As far as the Republican Convention is concerned, it seems to have been a big success among white voters with no college degree and a mild disappointment among those with more education. Because there are more of the former than the latter, overall that does give Trump a post-convention bump in the polls. It remains to be seen if the Democratic Convention will do the same for Clinton. Of course, within a given state, all votes (hopefully) count the same, regardless of the voter's education level. The semi-educated are sick and tired of putting up with the educated elite.

A story on the CNN poll with more details can be seen at this link:

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/25/politics/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-poll/index.html

PS/ In the past you've done far more factually accurate posts, so I know you are capable of much better than this one.

The leaked emails coupled with the nominations seem to refute your analysis.

NO ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN wanted Trump to become the nominee, yet he did so anyway, with NOTHING but popular support by The People. It would seem that the process has worked as designed, with The People's voices being heard, and their results being honored, in spite of the desires of the political elite.

Whereas... There is indisputable documentation of election-fixing and favoritism by the DNC, in favor of Clinton over her opponents.

PS. There is a solution to all of this: Vote Johnson. :)

Trump IS destroying the Religious Right in the GOP....I guess we should give him credit for that.

They've either surrendered their "traditional Christian principles" and are supporting Trump....thus proving themselves to be "Republicans, first....conservative Christians...uh...later."

or they are #NeverTrumpers who have been stomped on by the Party.

    - - - Updated - - -

Curious, in your opinion....what percentage of the GOP are "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS"?

"The Democratic National Committee is 'clearing a path' for Hillary Clinton to be its presidential nominee because its upper power echelons are populated with women, according to a female committee member who was in Las Vegas for Tuesday's primary debate.
Speaking on the condition that she isn't identified, she told Daily Mail Online that the party is in the tank for Clinton, and the women who run the organization decided it 'early on.'
The committeewoman is supporting one of Hillary's rivals for the Democratic nomination, and said she spoke freely because she believes the former Secretary of State is benefiting from unfair favoritism inside the party.
Clinton aims to be the first female to occupy the Oval Office, and 'the party's female leaders really want to make a woman the next president,' the committeewoman said, rattling off a list of the women who she said are the 'real power' in the organization.
'I haven't heard anyone say we should make Hillary undergo a trial by fire,' she added. 'To the contrary, the women in charge seem eager, more and more, to have her skate into the general [election].'
'I have nothing against women in politics,' she underscored. 'But it's not healthy for the party if we get behind a woman because she's a woman, and risk having her implode after she's nominated because she isn't tested enough now.'

DNC national press secretary Holly Shulman told Daily Mail Online flatly: 'The DNC runs an impartial primary process, period.'

Yes the rules rigged it so it would not be the people selecting their candidate. The sexist on their national committee insured that.

Oh geez talking about head in the sand spin. They head of the DNC having to resign her post because she led the effort to pick a particular candidate instead of the voters select their candidate as they portrayed. She getting boo'd by her OWN STATE DELEGATION this morning. Waiting for her speech to be cancelled. The infighting set to begin.

Yeah things are just going hunky-dory so far :roflol:

For purposes of Trump support, I cannot come up with a single republican congressman who supported Trump, until there was no other alternative. The People's choice was Trump, and there appeared to be nothing anyone could do about it. For better or for worse, that is the way it is supposed to work. That the republican's system yields imperfect results in terms of quality, is quite evident in more than one election past. But it unerrantly yields the People's Choice, as it should be. Something that, apparently, cannot be said of the democrat system.

And now the California delegation in revolt

VIDEO: CA Sanders delegates pound on tables, chant ‘Bernie!’

There’s an all-out revolt unfolding at the Democratic National Convention.

During a breakfast for California delegates Monday morning, attendees pounded on the tables and chanted “Bernie!”

As silverware, plates and glasses clanked, the speaker attempted to calm down the crowd, repeatedly yelling, “Alright, alright, alright.”

“Come on,” she added, but they wouldn’t relent.

    Watch:

Another video shows a speaker pleading with the crowd, mistakenly asking, “Are we a Democratic family here?”

“No!” was the reply. “Count the votes!” they chanted.

Were we talking about having about someone having one's head in the sand? I missed that part of the thread. Please point me to it. I don't see it anywhere in my post that you quoted.

As I said, a smart person would wait for the convention to be over before judging it. You have no idea how it's going to turn out, or are you a soothsayer?

DNC paid people to protest as Bernie supporters. Guess they forgot to pay everyone to stay home!
