    State funded colleges are run by liberals and taught by liberals. Prices are outrageous and are still very much paid for by taxes. That is all there is to know. I fear the taxes that would be needed to fund current colleges as are without expecting tuition of any substantial amount.

    You have no statistical proof of the above claim, which at face value is preposterous.

    That's all there is to know? Not really.

    Rather, they are pretty much paid for by debt. From here:
