So here we have the effect of democrat king making. Hillary and Pelosi like preying mantises, killed all the up and comers in the Garden of Democrat by denying them (mostly men) publicity for good ideas and good deeds.
The allure of the presidency is much like Inca's climbing the bloody steps of the ziggurat fighting to get to the top, and finally grab the cherished e-ticket to heaven.
So pick your poison: Moochelle - the frequent freeloading flyer, Kamela - the third grader who lied about her age, or Gavin - who's hair gel lubricated the skids toward socioeconomic disfunction.

None of those are going to happen.

I don't think Biden will be the democrat candidate. They can't put him in a debate, he has to be pretty much kept from the public, he hasn't any successes to run on, just Trump hatred. So how do they get rid of him? Fascinating question. Seems like let him be primaried and the DNC supports the other contender would be the easiest option. But they don't...why? Reluctance to admit they got everything wrong?

My best guess is DNC will have Biden announce a serious illness and that he, sadly, must drop out. But what if he refuses? And what if he has enough on enough people (and his family will keep reminding him what it is) that they can't make him?

Possibly the strategy is to keep him in till the last minute and hope Republicans don't have enough time to expose Newsom's failures to enough voters.

Yeah... I seriously doubt he lasts until the end of this term, let alone get elected to another. I watched him talking about the possible Israeli-Hamas ceasefire today, and the poor guy looked and acted confused as hell, like he wasn't sure what conversation he was in. I feel bad for him. I definitely do not think he should be leading the country.

Yeah, in a way, I feel sorry for him. I much blame his family, who doubtless saw dollar signs in a presidential run. It isn't possible that they didn't see the signs and it was cruel to let him move forward on this.

Another way the DNC could get rid of him is to simply pay him to step down. The Biden family never could resist money. And by now they know that the corruption well has run dry. I bet that's what they plan to do!

Newsom is disgustingly greasy and looks like a used car salesman crossed with a bottom feeding ambulance chaser. Beloved by Dems.

There are a lot of very radical left wing Democrats who want Joe for a second term. He's nothing but a figurehead. They can use him to stay in power to be the front man for their radical agenda, especially climate legislation which is the path to a socialist dictatorship. Biden has no mind to oppose them, and his family, especially the First Lady, wants him to stay in power.

If you have listened to Biden on TV, you have seen what he is. The liberal news media is now looking to dump him. The New York Times has now editorized that Trump's unpopularity might not be enough for Biden to win the general election. The change is in the wind. You can listen to it or ignore it.

Yea I have seen Biden on TV. He speak from White House, the most powerful house on the face of the earth. Biden stand next to chief of staff or Defense Secretary of USA , the most powerful army in history.

But you want to tell me New York Times editorial board has more power ? Sure .. in world of Qanon that may be true, but not in Planet Earth

Biden is unlikely to voluntarily step down.....
    so.....
the Democratic Party machine has little alternative except to throw him under the bus legally.............. which they can easily do considering the cases that are now happening.

You certainly could be correct that Newsom may well be who they replace him with! Michelle is another obvious possible choice....... she is probably more electable than Newsom in many ways!
