I quit. You are being intentionally dense. The power that the bureaucracies exercise, frequently filling the void left by congressional inaction, has become an issue for thoughtful people.

Because such a position requires certain qualifications. Qualifications you only could have received by doing the bidding of the establishment for the past 20-30 years.

    He tried.

He was all set to install another “yes man” in the Attorney General’s office.

And he made no bones about publicly threatening to weaponize the FBI and Justice Deparment specifically to harass his political and personal enemies. And he threatened to jail them too.

We all have seen the video. Why you Trump dead end types keep trying to pretend that your beloved fuhrer did not say these things?

Your party has weaponized the Justice Department and the FBI. There is no speculation about that.

When I was in college, the anti-war students complained about “the man” how the government was like a bunch fascists. Now that their kids and grandkids are “the man,” they are worse.

And Trump is not “my beloved fuhrer.” He is the only alternative to your senile leader who is controlled by people who are worse than Trump.

It's like you all have forgotten what the reaction was on January 6.

the republican president of the United States publicly (though belatedly) called the attack on the capitol "Heinous" and denounced the perpetrators “Like all Americans, I am outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem,” The republican head of the senate said " a mob was assaulting the Capitol". Sean Hannity was desperately texting Trump because he "wanted the riot to end".

So under the republican president, the FBI headed by a republican nominated by the republican president set out to identify the "perpetrators" of this "heinous crime" with one of the many tools at their disposal.

I've seen enough cop shows to know that if a witness saw the criminal flee in a red car that had a "Sal's auto dealer" sticker on it, you go to Sal's the auto dealer and ask for the records of all the people who have bought a red car in the last couple of years.

It is always very touchy when the government demands to see private records, I am sensitive to that. 1) they do it all the time (yes, even under trump). The question is when is it justified. 2) this story is purposefully being completely obfuscated so as to make it seem like it is something it is not 3) how the **** do you guys think that criminals get caught by law enforcement? Is asking the next door neighbour for information about a suspected shooter invasion of privacy? Is looking up DMV records to find licence plate numbers because a witness had a partial on the plate an invasion of privacy? Asking the store owner to show footage from this security camera that has a bunch of innocent people in the store along with a possible killer wrong as well?

This is such fake and fabricated outrage.

Once again, let's remember that Trump wanted to bring Apple to it's knees until it did exactly what the government wanted to secure it's case against a mass shooter.
