Time to talk about Trump's mental incapacity

Trump is a terrible collection of arrogance, fool, and cable/TV star. The only thing that captivates Trump is ratings. Trump believes reality is an ongoing episode of the Apprentice. Whatever the latest headline from the White House, Trump will always be the star. Always the star in any event. Your kid gets shot at school? Trump feels so bad he can't eat his lunch.

An added dimension is Trump's irrational, obsessive hatred of Obama because Obama is; a) far more popular at home and abroad, b) smarter, and c) has dared to make fun of the orange god. If he has to trash all things Obama, he will. Even if it destroys America.

It's a simple choice, Trump is both an asshat and a fool.

 

Last time I checked- just a few weeks ago, at the same point in the Obama presidency his approval rate and Trump's were IDENTICAL at 48%.
Look up the rate for congress. Look at it over several presidencies. See if you can find a time when it topped 20%- and those are the only people who can legislate; the president can't.

People approve of people who tell them what they want to hear. When that is that we should all hate Trump, the dems approve of that.
I can't forget the barrage of mockery and abuse heaped on Trump by the left during the campaign, and how they made such asses of themselves in total confidence of winning and being able to gloat.
Obviously the sting of that embarrassment hasn't faded yet and they persist in trying to validate their abuse in order to avoid that horrible status- of having to accept they are self-made fools.
It's just more of the same crap, and for the same reasons- and it's pretty pathetic.

 

The problem is that there are so many people who are insane themselves so they don't see anything wrong with what Trump does or says.

He said ONE true thing, he could shoot someone and his supporters wouldn't care.

Trump thinks forests have to be raked. That a nuke will stop a hurricane. That the Clintons had Epstein killed.

 

You can. Which is why reputable news outlets are very careful about using them -- because if they turn out to be wrong/lying, it can destroy the outlet's reputation.

Anonymous sources are not ideal, but they are not wrong by default. Nor are they right by default. You have to judge the story and the outlet.

He has a huge and fragile ego. He likes to brag. He is prone to exaggerate. These things are true of many people who are mentally well - including doctors and airline pilots. I haven't heard a lie about anything that matters from him lately. The exaggerations that bother you aren't worth even writing about. They are silly and pointless. But, unlike you, I don't hate him. He looks after the country's interests better than any president in my lifetime - by a lot.

 

Yeah. That's why this is posted to "Opinion " because it's not exactly factual. (or even rational TDS being what it is an all. )

That isn't a leftist source. It only seems like one to righties who prefer to get their information from biased sources like Fox News, Breitbart, The Daily Caller, or Rush Limbaugh. Righties never even consider the possibility that unbiased news that doesn't favor their views may actually be accurate.

Myself, I like multiple sources, and only go to the leftist "echo chambers" when I'm weary of trying to bring facts to those who aren't interested. Politico and MSNBC make me feel less alone, but that doesn't mean I won't fact-check them. Try not to limit yourself.

Beto just claimed that we, not god or nature, are the cause of a drought in Guatemala. The world will go be ending in 10 years if we don't go freakking nuts on climate change now. AOC disagrees; she says 12 years. There is no crisis at he border of course, because everyone has the right to enter and help themselves. They're catching cow farts in California to save the world- but can't keep the sidewalk turd population under control there. Kamala Harris wants to pay everybody free money; up to $6,000 per family. They want $15 an hour minimum wages, and have no idea that the prices of goods will reflect every penny of it.
Then Cory Booker wants to give every child a "nest egg" at birth. Sanders and others want to give everybody free health care- as if funneling it through government would actually make it free. Sanders and Warren want to forgive all student debt; screwing all the taxpayers that put up the money to fund their loans. Warren wants universal free child care, paid for by the government.

That of course is the very short list. These fruitcake ideas appeal to those who haven't a shred of economic intelligence. They say that the people proposing them don't either- or at least know that the public is gullible enough to not ask where the money to pay for free things comes from. None of their proposals have any viable funding methods, except to "tax the rich". The top 10% already pay 70% of the bills, but that isn't enough. They advocate killing the golden goose..... having a big dinner where everybody eats free- and then everybody starves to death.

Which sources do you mean? I thought this thread was about Trump's mental incapacity. He proves he is incompetent almost daily. He says things that make reasonable people think he's a complete a..hole every day. If the words come from his own cake hole, what other sources do you need?
